This is a very traditional Japanese onsen hotel. The environment is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. The private onsen is incredibly affordable and can be booked separately. The package also included a Kaiseki dinner, though the taste wasn't quite to my liking. Overall, it was a stunning experience.

My friend from Osaka and I, after a long time, stayed here together. Being at an age where our bodies aren't as spry, we were extremely satisfied with the in-room hot spring. Both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a bit challenging with the stairs, so next time, I'd like to book a room that doesn't require using them, so we can relax even more.

The room was fantastic and spacious. Although it's an older property, it's very well-maintained and clean. It features two private pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The dinner offered a wide variety of food, but the absolute highlight was the incredible service. A traditional Japanese hotel.

We loved our 2 day stay at this traditional ryokan. It is an oasis within the city with beautiful gardens and villas. The food was carefully prepared and service excellent. Shizuoka was very kind and made our stay extra special. Highly recommended. Thank-you!

There's an indoor and an outdoor hot spring bath, traditional Japanese tatami mats, and kaiseki cuisine—I experienced an authentic Japanese hot spring! It's the perfect place to relax and heal; very nice!

The entire hot spring hotel's courtyard is beautifully designed, with various stone lanterns throughout the courtyard, named after the stone pavilion. We stayed in an independent villa; the room was spacious, and walking along the stone path was very pleasant. Hotel staff helped with our luggage. There's also a public open-air bath. It seems the men's and women's baths are the same each day. There are also two private baths available for about 45 minutes for 1500 yen; the one on the left, Imaihama, is larger. Dinner and breakfast are served in the banquet hall, with reserved private rooms. The service and ambiance were impeccable, but the food was somewhat ordinary and not particularly impressive.

A wonderful place to relax by the hot springs. Everything was top-notch, from the villa and check-in to the outdoor pool. The service was very pleasant. A chance to experience Japanese traditions. A traditional dinner with a wide variety of dishes. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

The hotel staff were incredibly professional, immediately showing us to our room and helping us check-in upon arrival. The next morning at breakfast, they proactively asked if we needed to book a taxi so they could arrange it in advance. Hearing we were going to visit a nearby museum, they even prepared a map and discount coupons. The restaurant food was excellent, exquisitely prepared, and they even had an English menu to help us understand the menu. The room was spacious, and it even had a private hot spring bath – fantastic!

Wonderful place. First time at a ryokan, the grounds are magical. Very clean and tidy. The service was excellent, everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, and they were very polite. Breakfast and dinner were very impressive. We'll definitely be back.
