Reviews of Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park

A caravan park catering for families, unfortunitly, while l was there, the weather was not what people like while on holidays, so it was difficult , but the hosts did their best to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible due to the circumstances , would like to visit again .... with better weather conditions.

We can’t recommend this campground enough — it’s the perfect spot to relax and make memories with family. Immaculately clean, wonderfully friendly, and an absolute gem!

This is a great location with the harbour edge to walk around. The camp was exceptionally clean and tidy. We will definitely be coming back this Summer.

Absolutely loved Athenree! While it’s away from the main beach & a busy town it has everything you need. The kids loved it! The hot pools are fantastic! Would recommend it to anyone! Will defo be going back!

This is a very clean, well run campground with excellent facilities including hot springs, toilets, showers, kitchen, bbq area, coffee cart and sometimes a burger cart. We loved our stay .... the sea view, quietness and handy location. Would recommend staying here to anyone

The self-contained cabin was very adequate for our needs, and was clean and comfortable. The pools were right next door and were really the main drawcard. They are quite unusual in that they are drained and cleaned every night then refilled. No added salt or chlorine, no sulphur smells, and the water had a "silky" feel to it. The water was at a nice temperature and the pools had shade sails over them for shade. The surrounding walls were tastefully decorated with mosaics from local artists. The cost of our stay seemed reasonable.

What a fabulous place for a visit. I was there one night on the way home in my campervan. I was hanging out for a soak in the hot water pools. The place is SO clean, sink/benches are spotless, the toilets clean with lovely soft music piped through, great hot shower with good pressure. Overall a lovely, feeling to the whole place. Kitchen has all you need. The lady who was in the reception area was super friendly and helpful when I asked about where to go for a walk. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lovely spot to park up caravan for a night. We brought one. We tested it out.Was great. We will go again. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We had a caravan site for 3 nights and enjoyed our say very much. Facilities are very clean and tidy, including the Hot Pools. The Hot Pools are lovely.

Fantastic friendly place from booking in, arriving, very clean facilities & highly maintained, very well organized holiday park. Staff are All very friendly, was even able to get to park my motorhome right next to where my cousin also booked in for a cabin making our experience there even better.. definitely be a return holiday destination. 10/10 from me.

What an amazing stay! Short and sweet but the most relaxing enjoyable and much needed break. We are gearing up a family group to come back soon. Thank you for everything x

A lovely stay over Labour weekend. The camp facilities were very clean and the hot pools were awesome. Morning coffees and Burger night were a bonus. Great base for kayaking, tramping and exploring by bike

Clean, well organised, convenient, friendly helpful staff, pet friendly. Hot pool emptied n cleaned daily . 5 star 🌟 🤩

Great place, clean tidy and very friendly hosts all toped off by the hot pool. Sites are well maintained and regularly groomed Will definitely return
