Ermou Athens City Center Apartment

The good : We loved the property. Very clean. Has wash/ drier. The balcony is great and a nice touch SMALL ISSUE: .Bathroom shower has no glass on end so can make floor slippery. looked like it broke and never fixed. WE recommend a floor mat to help and not need to use a towel on floor. MAJOR ISSUE: the bed is bent in half. Needs changing ASAP it hurts to sleep on. Owner said they put foam on it to correct. Foam was warn out as well. If you have back issues i recommend not booking. We woke sore and woke many times in night. My husband slept on couch as his side was not even able to touch bed as it was so misshapen. Owner claims bed will be changed ASAP, but I would confirm if this occurred as it is a major issue that can damper your stay

Great location and that’s about it Great location and very clear check in instructions. However welcome book which contains wifi details were not available, emailed them to ask but did not get a response, that was quite disappointing.

Amazing location The location of the flat was absolutely perfect—right in the center, which is ideal for exploring the city. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere very central. Just be aware that it can get quite noisy, and there’s a nearby church with bells ringing often, which can be disturbing at night. Also, you need to turn on the hot water about 20 minutes before showering, which can be a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, we had a great time.

The apartment was infested with BEDBUGS. We got so many bites and informed the owner but no response. STAY AWAY unless you like BEDBUGS.

My spouse and I live on the islands and travel to Athens frequently on business, and we needed a comfortable room in November 2024 for a few days. Most important thing was good television service, as we have down time and wanted to be able to relax on these cold rainy days in between things. The pictures show 2 beautiful televisions, one over the bed, which was the deciding factor in choosing. When we arrived, we found one television half ripped / falling from the wall, out of service, and the other one was missing. Further, the place wasn’t particularly well cleaned, the bathroom sink had only cold water, the shower head sprayed in a million directions, there weren’t enough towels, and the bed itself was uncomfortable. We documented everything on camera and explained this to the manager, who offered us 2 replacement nights in exchange for not discussing these things. A few months later, still in the low season, we had to return to Athens, and booked him. He assured us everything was fixed, and then texted us at 2 am the morning before our flight that by the way, the TV was still broken. We cancelled and booked at a proper place in the frantic minutes before our flight. So naturally, we wrote and posted this information and they promptly deleted it (along with others from what we can tell). So we are reposting here and elsewhere to spare others from being deceived by the photos online.
