The hotel is located near Omonia metro station, which was convenient, although the area didn’t feel very safe at night. I had both dinner and breakfast there—the food was average, but fair for the price. The staff were very nice and always helpful.
My room didn’t have a desk, unlike some of the other rooms. The bathroom sometimes had an unpleasant smell, possibly from the pipes, and I noticed a few small flies. On the positive side, the room was equipped with air conditioning, a fridge (very useful), a TV, and a balcony facing the street. The only small inconvenience was that after cleaning, the window was often left open, even when I hadn’t requested it.

I stayed one night at Red Dave Athens Hotel and was really impressed overall. The rooftop jacuzzi and sun deck were a highlight—perfect for relaxing with a view after a long day. The room design had a modern, industrial feel that was both stylish and comfortable.
Only small downside was the bathroom cleanliness, which could be slightly improved. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely stay again for the vibe and rooftop alone!

The hotel is nice and clean, in a run down part of town but easy to commute to most attractions. Family suit had enough room for a family of four. Breakfast is fine, but lucks variety - same selection everyday.
Wasn’t best pleased to be charged €2.50 per tea bag, these things are in the room in other 4* hotels.
Nikos was amazing at reception, very much well-coming and his suggestions for restaurants and Island visit was much appreciated, thanks!

The hotel room is not big, but the location is very convenient for travel. When you go out from the left-hand corner and turn right, you will find the subway station. There are also several restaurants, which are quite lively. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old site of the University of Athens and 20 minutes to the Syntagma Square.

Very nice place, great service, perfect breakfast. We totally enjoyed it. Noisy at night, but we always use ear plugs so it’s never a problem! Special thanks to Nik for helping us with directions, breakfast at 05:30 am and for the patience with our thousand questions! 🙏🏼

My room was on the first floor and the button lock on the window was broken, so I was a little worried and scared to stay there alone as a woman.
The bathtub was great.
It was great for warming up my tired body after the flight and getting my blood flowing.
Although it was far from the market, it was very convenient for getting to the main attractions of Zeus, Athena, and the museums by train.

This hotel represents good value for money in Athens. I selected a room with a delightful balcony and interesting street views - there is also tiny park opposite. The desk was fine to complete several hours of work. The air-conditioned worked extremely well. I also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which many hotels with Athens don't have.
However, the bathroom was little tiny. Its about 10 min walk to Omonia Metro station, which offers a direct line to the port area. There is an excellent supermarket about 10 min walk from the hotel. This area feels more like the real Athens, rather than hotels in tourist zones. This zone has wonderful multicultural feel. In the same street of this hotel, there are excellent hairdressers for $5 Euro a cut and fantastic stores to buy discount clothes and bags. I would certainly recommended this hotel for travellers that appreciate value for money and with great amenities like balcony and fridge.

The hotel is located in a nice place. All the major attractions are 1 - 3 metro stops away, which hardly takes 10-15 mins from the gate of the hotel to the gate of the attraction. The staff is really nice, the person who was doing morning shift on 22nd gave me an early checkin, very kind of him. The lady in the night shift, I think her name is Lana, she is also very helpful. Caffe and restaurant near the hotel are nice, multiple options are there.
Now coming to the condition of the hotel - it’s not up to the basic standards. The rooms are very very old, the bathroom is in a pathetic condition ie old fittings, old marble (worst ). The building is in a mess. It looks like the hotel is not renovated since the time it was built. The lifts are scary. The lights in the room are dull. It’s better to book a hostel than this hotel in the same price point. There is a smell of chemicals on the
Hotel floors. The hotels next to this hotel are way way better, there are 3 4 of them in the same lane. PS - incase you want to use the aircon they’re gonna charge you 5 euros per day , though I really doubt that the aircon will work, but still. The heater in the room was also not working. In the night you don’t get hot water, it will only come in the morning.

Very good & nice hotel in the center of Athens. It is perfectly accessible via Athens train station and then via the Larissa metro station. Stable WiFi is available. Good breakfast is also available...everything to start the day well.
The bathroom is very small, but has a good rain shower. Slight defects in the tightness of the shower...so the bathroom is always completely ”under water”.
The soundproofing should be checked & improved
...it is really LOUD...even at night...
The balcony is GREAT.....

Not bad, good location, great front desk service, breakfast is OK, the room is very noisy with the window open, the soundproofing is good when it is closed, you can't go out to the balcony, you can only open a crack, the room is not that new, the price is a bit high, but overall it is good

刘刘Nice hotel, newly opened, had dinner at the hotel, very delicious, the restaurant manager may feel that it is strange to eat only the main course, also sent a little appetizer, and gave the child a macaron

GGuest User3 adults soent 2 nights at Arcade Hotel in the terrace suite which was really spacious. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with food being replenished all the time.
All Reception staff were friendly and helpful. As we left early for the airport we were made breakfast to take with us which consisted of plenty of food including some gluten free bread for me as a coeliac.

AAnonymous UserThe family room is average, the window is an interior view, looking out to an atrium. There is no sun, and the sofa bed is average in texture. The bottled water in the refrigerator seems to be charged, but I didn't drink it anyway. The advantage is that the breakfast is very rich. One meal is enough for half a day.

GGuest UserLocation is at Omonia Square, people wrote so many things about how sketchy the place is. Actually, its not that much of a big deal seeing a homeless or drunk people in the streets and somehow I did not see any. Overall very p/p hotel. Breakfast was good enough too.

HHUIThe location of the hotel is not far from the omonia subway station, and the main attractions in the city can be walked. The size of the room is OK, the bathroom is small and there is no hair dryer. The soundproofing of the room was not good, but I slept very well when I was tired. The best place in the room is a hard bed, comfortable to sleep, not particularly soft. Breakfast is shown in the picture, except for vegetables and fruits. However, there are places around which fruit is sold. But try not to go to the alley at night and walk the avenue. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and the way to ask is very patient to answer, we check out and go to the shopping center, hesitating at the door, how to go at the door, the hotel front desk ran out to give us directions, especially to pay attention to the safety of the bag.

GGuest UserLittle bit out of the way and some of the streets around it aren’t good. Once past those to Omonia Square you are fine. Room spacious and clean. No complaints with it. Happy I stayed there given the price. I was solo male traveller
