This was our second stay at the Sugar Magnolia. First time we were in the cottage, this time the Garden Room. We found the room very clean and comfortable. It is minutes away from downtown and within walking distance (5 minutes) to the Krog Market. Our host Kathryn, was wonderful, from serving us breakfast to giving us recommendations for sightseeing and dining. Just to show you how much she cares about guests, she surprised us on the night/day of departure. We had to leave by 3:30 AM. Kathryn was feeling bad that we would have to miss breakfast, so on our last evening when we returned to our room, we found orange juice, fruit, cereal, and milk. We couldn't have asked for more from our host. The B&B itself is a beautiful 130+ year old Victorian. If you love old houses you will appreciate just walking through this B&B. If you want a Waldorf experience, stay at a Waldorf. If you want a pleasant memorable experience, stay at the Sugar Magnolia. We will, next time in Atlanta.
