The Intracoastal Waterway lies behind the facility, providing access to grills, picnic tables, and a gazebo for relaxing or cooking your catch of the day. There's also a dock area available for fishing. The beautiful sandy beach is just across the street and is less than a three-minute walk from this unit. To top it all off, Bogue Shores features one of the largest and cleanest pools on the island, along with a cute baby pool. Be sure to visit the local waterparks, the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, as well as the local surf shops and gift stores. A grocery store is about five minutes away, along with many excellent seafood and steak restaurants that the locals rave about. If you're eager to explore more, you can book a boat tour to visit some of the islands for a few hours or enjoy a dinner cruise. There's so much to do that you'll want to come year after year to experience it all!
