This place had been our "go to" place for years when we visited family and friends. The price was reasonable. Basic rooms and generally clean. But we have noticed a decline each time we have made reservations. Our July visit will be our last. Very poor. You now have to deal with a kiosk in the foyer before you can enter the lobby. The sound on the machine was not good. It was difficult to understand what the face on the camera was saying/asking. That area is small. Between my husband, me and our luggage, it was pretty full. I don't imagine anyone else could fit while waiting to get into their room. When we were allowed into the lobby, no one was at the desk and the door was closed. We found a housekeeper (who was pleasant) who was able to provide us with extra towels, etc. because we don't bother with a room cleaning until we depart. We immediately noticed a funky/musty odor in the room. Throughout our stay, even with the AC going continuously, that odor never went away. The carpet felt "squishy" even though it was not damp. The bathroom was bad. Mold and stains on the ceiling. Wallpaper was peeling and the towel rack was loose. The toilet seat kept popping off. There was mold in the grout on the floor. I wiped some off to see since the grout was different colors in areas. Some brown stain (?) on the wall below the sink, closer to the toilet bowl. And yes, the website is way out of date. We don't think we ever stayed there with "breakfast" being available. At some point, years ago, they used to have a wine event during "happy hour" but that had been discontinued. We only stayed 3 of the 4 nights we reserved. We would have left but all the hotels were booked due to it being the 4th of July weekend.
