The de Brett is the perfect boutique hotel. It is stylish and elegant without being fussy. The linens and other amenities are wonderful. The restaurant has limited menu options, but all are tasty and presented beautifully. The location is perfect—close to everything, but on a quiet side street that is welcoming. I recommend it highly.

This is the cutest boutique hotel I’ve stayed in. Awesome downtown location with an excellent restaurant. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was extremely well appointed. I lived all the little touches and how eco friendly they are. Stay here when you come to Auckland.

A gem of a small hotel in the heart of Auckland! From check in to check out everything was perfect. Beautiful room, excellent breakfast and lovely attentive staff.

We were lucky to be able to check in early thanks to the nice guy at the reception, after a long 24 hour journey we were grateful to get our room at 7am, 9 hours prior to the original check in time! We managed to get some kip and this allowed us to really make use of our day feeling refreshed. The room was clean and boutique. Some parts of the hotel could do with a bit of a spruce such as stair carpet and lift. But on the whole was a nice stay for 2 nights. Location is excellent, walking distance to so many things in about 5 mins. Couple of things to note are, if you have an inward/restaurant facing room you can hear music early in the morning for the breakfast area which was about 7:30am, so not ideal if you are wanting a lie in, and the aircon was not very strong in the room.

This hotel offered very nice accommodations and was super convenient to everything! We selected a room with breakfast included and the choices were excellent and delicious. Ruchi was especially helpful when we checked in and provided excellent service and advice. We would recommend this property for its charm and boutique features located in an excellent area of the Auckland CBD.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Auckland CBD. The rooms are comfortable with an amazing bed. The bathroom is really great. The location is excellent with lots to do within walking distance. Our check in at midnight was smooth. I can highly recommend the hotel.

We just stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It was excellent. Located right in the heart of the city, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back.
