Newton Lodge Auckland

This is a really great place to stay for backpackers or those on a working holiday. The kitchen is well-equipped, and they even had a can opener. While it can get busy at times, you usually only have to wait about 5 minutes to prepare your meal. The toilets, showers, and sinks are all separate, so even with many guests, I never had to wait in line. The cleaning staff are very thorough, and the hostel managers are friendly. They also provide a lot of useful information, especially for people on working holidays. There are many rules, but they are all basic courtesies that anyone should follow. I believe these rules are what allow the hostel to maintain such a quiet and comfortable environment.

Not far from Auckland city centre, a little hidden on the street. Pleasant for a few nights.

It's a 30-minute walk straight from Big Station. Some people might find it difficult to walk up the hill, but there are plenty of city buses, so it's fine! If you go downstairs, you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The hostel was also very clean, and the receptionist was very kind! I'd love to stay again if I have the opportunity!

It was very comfortable and the staff were very kind, so it was a fun trip to Auckland. I was also glad that there was a hairdryer!
