The bathroom is a modular unit and even has a TV. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: It's quite close to the Sky Tower and even closer to the Intercity bus terminal, making travel very convenient.

Extremely satisfied. I really appreciated having my own private space. The room was well-equipped, not just with power outlets, but also a thoughtful touch like a mirror. The environment was very clean, and I even saw the cleaning staff meticulously tidying up after check-out.

The bathroom was quite clean and private, despite not having a window. The hostel has three floors, and security feels good. It's about a 6-minute walk to Sky Tower, and getting to the city center is also very convenient. However, due to the many hills in downtown New Zealand, it's a bit difficult to manage heavy luggage. The Wi-Fi is strong, and there are comfortable common areas. The kitchen isn't very large, and with many people cooking their own meals, utensils are often in short supply. I was pleasantly surprised to find a rice cooker available, which was a nice touch. Overall, it's a pretty good place and worth recommending.

The hotel's close proximity to public transportation, like buses, made getting around incredibly easy. The facilities seemed new, were well-maintained, and very clean. They also organized events, making it easy to meet new people and make friends.

I really loved how private and quiet the capsule bed was. The common facilities were always kept clean. There's a cafe and pub downstairs, which is great for meals. However, if you're coming by public transport, it's an uphill walk, so I recommend taking an Uber.

The room design is excellent, equipped with amenities like a hairdryer and hangers. Check-in and check-out are very convenient. If your budget allows, I'd recommend a twin-bedded room for two people, which comes with a private bathroom. It's worth noting whether the room has windows or not.

Conclusion: This place offers great value for solo travelers. The check-in and check-out process is smooth and convenient. However, if you're traveling with two or more people, a standard hotel room nearby would be more comfortable and cost-effective. The capsule facilities are decent. Each capsule has one USB port, one Type-C port, and two three-prong outlets, making charging very convenient. The room has no windows but does have a ventilation system. However, because the capsule pods have felt doors, the small fan inside the pod simply isn't enough for proper air circulation. I slept very hot last night 😢. It's best to leave the door half-open or fully open for ventilation. The felt doors also don't offer good sound insulation; my roommate was quietly packing at 5 AM and I still woke up. If you're a light sleeper, remember to bring earplugs. The bedding is relatively clean, but the mattress is super soft and sags when you lie on it. For two or more people, I'd suggest paying a bit more for a standard hotel room to avoid ventilation issues and the potential hassle of climbing to an upper bunk. The women's restroom and shower facilities are generally clean, and there's plenty of hot water. It's best to bring a large bag to hang your clothes behind the door. I didn't see any public hairdryers, so you'll need to bring your own. There are plenty of three-prong outlets available in the restroom. I didn't use the communal kitchen (it smelled like a lot of delicious cooking!). The on-site restaurant is convenient, but the food is mediocre. I recommend eating out instead (Auckland has many great Chinese restaurants). Both check-in and check-out are self-service via machine, which is incredibly convenient. Check-in is after 3 PM, but if you're checking in on the same day, you can store your luggage for free with the staff (they have a secure, locked room). The staff are all very willing to help! The hostel's location is extremely convenient, just a five-minute walk from the Sky Tower (which is also an Intercity bus stop and the drop-off/pick-up point for the airport Skyline bus). It's also easily accessible from Britomart (city center) train station, with two bus stops and about an 8-minute walk. There's a somewhat steep hill leading up to the hotel, which can be tiring if you have heavy luggage.

【Amenities】 Self check-in and check-out are very convenient. The hotel facilities are very new, and the room and bathroom designs are quite modern. The capsule room has a mirror and a charging port. However, it gets a bit hot while sleeping, and the exhaust fan doesn't seem to do much. But the room is still very good; there are even hooks for hanging towels, which is convenient. The bed is comfortable, and the soundproofing is pretty good, so turning over in the bunk bed doesn't cause much disturbance. 【Surroundings】 It's a bit far from the main shopping street and the pier that most people want to visit. For dining, you'll need to walk a few extra minutes.
