This hotel is located by the beach, facing the sea with a beautiful environment! The hotel service is very attentive and considerate, the hotel owner is very delicate in making breakfast by himself! It's really worth experiencing!

Stayed here 2 nights. On closer inspection room was a bit dusty and looked like it hadnt been dusted in a while.floor didnt look clean either..could of been stains engrained in the tiles but disnt look clean at all. The pool photos do not match the pictures, water was cloudy and green and the sides of the pool were very dirty, put me off going in.dont get me wrong it was a nice enough chalet with a microwave and kitchenette but for 340 a night a bit over priced in my opinion. On arrival owner didnt say much..just that I should turn air con on when I get into room. There was no brush or Hoover to sweep the floor so couldnt tidy that up.

We had a 2 night stay in the apartments. Our apartment was located on the top floor and had a beach view. The apartments are very well equipped and perfect for a short or longer stay. Located across the road from the beach and next to the main restaurants, such as Charlie Farleys. It is a short walk to the supermarket and the local buses stop outside the entrance and stop on a frequent basis for easy access to the port and main town of Oneroa. (Don't forget to buy your bus card at the port). Waiheke is a beautiful island with lots of fantastic bays and vineyards. Would recommend a visit to Mudbrick and Man O war vineyards. The Island grocer in Oneroa made one of the best sandwiches I have eaten.
Waiheke Island Motel

We came to stay for a 4 day week whilst working on the island which we do quite often. We have stayed in most of the units over a period of many years. The accommodation is good value ( company paying) but… having to cook our own meals the only real criticism we have is that the frying pans in most of the units are awful! All are of the nonstick type (electric and standard) but look like they are the original ones from when the motel opened! So they’re worn with the teflon flaking off and would be considered a health hazard. Might sound a bit harsh but I’d recommend they go through all their units and replace all their old pans as in my opinion it isn’t acceptable. Otherwise if you’re just short staying and not concerned about cooking meals then I’d highly recommend this motel.

The room type is very good, facing the sea, the setting of the balcony is very pleasant, there is a refrigerator and simple cooking tools, the price is very high, but maybe New Zealanders get off work early, and no one can be found when checking in😅, but the room key has been left In the mailbox at the front desk, it is recommended that the hotel send an email to the late arrivals to inform the room key storage.
