I chose this hotel because I had an early flight out after staying 2 days. Upon checking in I noticed a few tiny ants on my bathroom counter and killed them but didn't think much about it. When I woke up in the morning there were tiny ants all over the counter including on my toothbrush and razor and all over the sink. I went to the front desk and told them about the ant problem, showed them pictures and asked to change rooms. They gave me another room which I am happy to say didn't have any ants. I was surprised that there was no offer of any compensation, either in discount or points when I brought this problem to the front desk. I did eat breakfast one morning in the hotel restaurant. I got the eggs, pancakes, bacon and potatoes. Everything was fine except the potatoes were cold. Also, the time it took to get my food from when it was ordered was slow. If you look at the satellite view there is a way to walk to the terminal in about 15 minutes if you don't want to take the free shuttle. I do like that the hotel sent me a text with a link to track the shuttle when I called from the airport and needed to be picked up. I probably would not stay here again since downtown is just a 20 min ride away.

The line is such an incredible hotel! It is beautiful with extremely comfortable beds and rooms. It is the perfect, central location and has everything you may need for a trip to Austin, including a hotel bar, pool, taco restaurant and rooftop overlooking the city. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely be staying at the line again!

In the words of Bette Davis, “What a Dump.” In its favor, we had a nice view of Lady Bird Lake from our window, which was pretty to wake up to, and the water pressure in the shower was great! The bathroom seemed partially updated and was pretty decent. Free parking, too. There were a few HBO channels on tv. However, the hotel is very dated and not very clean looking. The indoor parking garage was filthy and was dimly lit. Didn’t feel very safe in there, so we parked in the outside lot whenever possible. No greeting from the night time desk clerk when we came back from dinner, as she seemed to purposely be avoiding eye contact with us (she wasn’t on the phone or busy with someone else). The elevators were very smudgy and too dark, also. The beds slumped a bit in the middle, the linens were old and tired looking, and the chair in the corner looked worse than some I’ve put by the curb. An old leak on the ceiling was poorly patched up, and there were stains on the desk chair, carpet and walls. The door to the adjoining room didn’t provide enough sound proofing, as I heard our neighbor’s phone convo loud and clear. The pool area didn’t look very inviting, as there were no umbrellas or trees to block the strong sun. We wanted to stay in downtown Austin to be within walking distance to things, so this was the least expensive option. But not much could be walked to from there, and the area it was in was a bit sketchy, so we ended up taking Ubers, anyway. We had booked our last night at a hotel in the Arboretum area, because this one went up to a ridiculously high amount for Friday night (music festival in town), and it ended up being just as convenient to take an Uber from there (15-20 mins) to downtown. Plus, the hotel was much nicer and way less expensive. Live and learn.

I am a Diamond member - I travel a lot. I am quite familiar with the level of customer service one can expect at a Hampton Inn - or any Hilton property. The manager working the front desk tonight was very unprofessional. We needed to make an alteration to the timing of our reservation (booked with points) and he flat out refused. This is after 3 calls today to different Hilton lines to make the adjustment - the property, HHonors, diamond desk - I was told the best way to alter our stay dates was at the front desk once we arrived. The mgr was very short with us, furthermore, no offer for bottles of water or anything resembling any customer allegiance/diamond appreciation. Icing on the cake - this property is very run down. Due to lot of events in Austin, hotel prices were very high so I paid premium points for our room.. I would not recommend staying here.

All I can say is WOW! Everything was PERFECT. Here, there was little sign that the pandemic even occurred. Daily housekeeping, quality pillows and towels, open stores and restaurants…all of this made me so happy! The only thing I would have enjoyed was morning coffee room service, but I’m sure this hotel is recovering from the pandemic like everyone else. What a FANTASTIC stay. Gabriel’s restaurant was fantastic and was open until 10pm, which was wonderful since we arrived at 9pm from a long road trip. I will never stay anywhere else!!

Our stay was simple and easy for Austin, Texas just down the street from the Great State of Texas Capital building or a short walk to the river. The hotel staff will greet you and have you wisked away to your room as fast as possible. Our room #2314 was a regular king room and the large size was good to have. The windows were floor to ceiling to have great views of the city day or night. Austin is home to the Texas music scene so many stay here for the access to all that is offered. The staff made sure our stay was enjoyable and I highly recommend requesting the charcuterie board with a great bottle 🍾 as it was sent up for us from the hotel. This hotel is designed for the business traveler in mind, great meeting spot and conference hotel. Book a breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Corner for a great meal. This hotel is a bit old and needs updating. The shower lacked hot water and the power outlets in the bathroom were inoperable. The headboard was old and tattered on one of the beds. Front desk employee was extremely pleasant and bubbly. Hotels are a bit pricey in Austin but if you want something a bit more current I recommend spending an extra 50-100 dollars. If you are in a pinch, this place is alright.

The good- the staff was really friendly. The pool is open from 6am to 11 pm, which was really nice, Because we have a toddler. And the pool was heated! The not so good- breakfast was a joke, maybe because of covid? There were no hot options except microwaveable sandwiches. No fruit or oatmeal. Just cold cereal and yogurt. Also I got up early to use the fitness room and run the stairs. There was a man sleeping at the top of the stairwell. He didn’t necessarily look homeless. Maybe just an employee catching a nap or a guest that drank to much. Either way items a little odd

The Tommie Coffee Bar is absolutely incredible! Every time I go to this coffee shop the coffee is delicious (I love their hot lattes especially) and the baristas are so friendly and kind. I go quite often and love getting to see Arrian and Jessie they always brighten my day — Both of them are so friendly and bring a smile to my face always. Also the chocolate chip cookies are next level delish! I am so thankful to live in a building with such an incredible coffee shop and baristas!

This was the cheapest dormitory inn around Austin. I had no choice but to stay, but at night I don't know if there is a live house building, but I couldn't sleep because it was annoying from 10 to 1 o'clock. After that, the location was in the center of Austin, so it was not so inconvenient. Overall it was not beautiful, but it was a dormitory within the acceptable range. I don't want to stay again if I want to stay again.

The room was very spacious, but still very dated. However, the bathroom seems to follow the pattern of Hilton brands during the pandemic of moldy bathrooms. I felt disgusting showering in the bathroom. As a Gold member, I’m supposed to get preferred rooms. I could only imagine what a non-elite member gets. Housekeeping remains a request only process and there is even a sticker glued to the mirror advertising the “free” housekeeping if you call. That makes me believe this policy is sticking around. It didn’t help I cut my finger on the door when coming to my room the first time. The front desk offered to sell me a bandaid for my wound. As a Gold member, I know Hilton doesn’t give free breakfast anymore but rather a 15 daily credit in restaurant. You certainly can’t buy breakfast for this price. Even the wines by the glass are in the 17-25 range, so the credit is really a coupon to squeeze more revenue out of you after taking away a benefit. There’s a reason I’m winding down my stays with Hilton and this property is a perfect illustration.

Last minute search for a rooms as I would be attending TASSP conference in Austin and our campus secretary found this chain. I arrived late to the hotel and it became a whose on first skit with the clerk. After that crazy chasing of my tail happened, I had a choice park on the street ot lay $30 a night in the hotel parking area. Walking into my room on the second floor and you get that very old carpet and stale air. It's best if you take your soap and shampoo and most importantly your shower shoes don't walk barefooted in the room. The room has an ironing board and iron but the board is not steady. The temperature in the room can be at extremes so careful when you adjust the temperature. This hotel is a long walk from convention center and you need to pass homeless area. I didn't have a good experience at this hotel.

All I can say is WOW! Everything was PERFECT. Here, there was little sign that the pandemic even occurred. Daily housekeeping, quality pillows and towels, open stores and restaurants…all of this made me so happy! The only thing I would have enjoyed was morning coffee room service, but I’m sure this hotel is recovering from the pandemic like everyone else. What a FANTASTIC stay. Gabriel’s restaurant was fantastic and was open until 10pm, which was wonderful since we arrived at 9pm from a long road trip. I will never stay anywhere else!!

This hotel is a bit old and needs updating. The shower lacked hot water and the power outlets in the bathroom were inoperable. The headboard was old and tattered on one of the beds. Front desk employee was extremely pleasant and bubbly. Hotels are a bit pricey in Austin but if you want something a bit more current I recommend spending an extra 50-100 dollars. If you are in a pinch, this place is alright.

To begin, the atmosphere is lively! I am a lively person, but being there for business I was sad that I didn’t have more energy to truly enjoy the experience. This is a great hotel for a bachelorette or weekend getaway for sure! First, the front desk ladies are super friendly and welcoming— they also provided a poker chip for a complimentary drink. The bar was great as well and I thoroughly enjoyed the signature cocktail. The bartenders were very nice and accommodating. On to the room... small, but honestly, the cleanest room I’ve ever seen! It reminds me of European rooms which are small, but the fun isn’t in the room, right?! Very pleased with the comfortable and clean room. I’ll certainly return for pleasure on the next round :)

AC hotels are one of my favorites - modern look, good service, comfortable stay, and affordable price. This one checks them all as well. Located right next to UT, and not too far from downtown Austin, a great place to stay for exploring. There is limited street parking so be prepared to pay. Small lobby as well so not a place to lounge. Check in was quick and got a room on a relatively high floor. Not much of a view but you will see other west campus towers. Rooms are decently size and appointed with all the essentials. Since it's a new hotel plenty of power outlets, food water pressure, and nice large tvs. Overall a great stay.

Front Desk Shante was a delight!! EVERYTHING a guest needed to know about the hotel and surrounding eateries was right there! I showed up road weary and was greeted with a beaming smile, fantastic disposition, and unchallenged professionalism. The room was clean, quiet, loaded with the necessary amenities and downright comfortable. The proximity to the Capital was a huge plus for a Monday morning commute!!

Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The room was well cleaned and room service = exceptional. The staff is very accommodating and did their best to make sure my stay went smoothly. I made a booking error and was struggling with using my points and they found a solution for me quickly. Kevin and Sunita were true stars!
