I very rarely write bad reviews, but this was so frustrating. The hotel was great, room was nice, breakfast was really good. But - they overcharged me for a night and won't fix it. I asked the front desk specifically the night before if I could check out on their app. I was told that was fine. But the app didn't check me out, nor did it tell me it didn't check me out. By the time I realized it, it was too late for them to check me out that day. I'm glad I checked for the receipt, or they would have charged me five more days, instead of just one. I had to run back over to the hotel and tell them what happened. They wouldn't (or couldn't) fix it at the front desk, so I just told them to check me out because I had a flight to catch. I didn't want to argue with the poor front desk people who were nice to our whole group all week. I feel so bad I recommended this place to my firm. I won't make that mistake again. I did call Hilton and they said they called the manager, who just said NO Refund for the day, I guess because it was after 11 AM. Needless to say, I am no longer a Hilton fan. FIX. YOUR. APP!

We booked a 5 night stay in a king one-bedroom suite. Diamond status is not recognized at Homewood Suites. - Hotel is outdated, with old TV's (no streaming) - Friendly front desk staff. They we were short-staffed around the holidays so the GM is running the front desk. - Room smelled a little muggy, but was clean We weren't in the room a lot as we were visiting family, so it was fine for our stay.

Great location, very well lit and right off highway. Front desk personal (sorry didnt get names) were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious. We were only in town for a couple days but the rooms had kitchenettes and were fully equipped, had we stayed longer that would have come in handy. Overall it was a great experiece.

I stayed here for a week for business. It is an older property but nice and clean. They have a good breakfast and a nice happy hour in the evenings during the week. Works great for a business trip, reasonably priced for Austin.comfortable bed and plenty of room for a longer stay.

I was moved to a second room after feces was stuck to my toilet from another guest, the second room had 3 cockroaches run out from the pillow the second I sat down for the first time. Front desk offered to help clean but I insisted it was not her responsibility.

After about 12 stays, we boycotted this hotel for the past 8 years due to incredible rudeness from staff in the past. We decided to give it one last try, and were very pleasantly surprised this time. For an older property, everything is very well maintained and staff were all very courteous and professional.

One room smelled of old cigarettes and the next smelled of mold. Front desk lacks major customer service. They allow pool parties from 2am to 5 am because the front desk staff are the ones that throw them. I don’t think this is a Hilton, it’s more of a motel 6 as far as standard go.

Our stay was decent- the rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, fresh and well stocked. There is ample parking, and the area of town is good. No issues with the hotel itself. However, the reservations were not correct. We had to move rooms once checked in because it wasn't right, and they double charged the card at check-out. The girl at the front desk did not seem to really understand what she was doing, and did not seem to have any desire to fix it. Management was also very unhelpful when she clearly needed more guidance and training.

Have to make a daily stop to front desk. They only clean rooms on request, but you need to remind them because they forget. There never are enough towels, or anything you need. The AM breakfasts rarely change. If you only stay one or two nights might be ok otherwise don't stay here. The cost and price is not worth it. Also it's a pet friendly hotel but you still find animal hair around your room.

We specifically chose this hotel because the website states they have a shuttle service to the airport. When we checked in we asked what time the shuttle begins service in the morning since we have an early flight and the woman at the front desk said she didn’t think it had been operating since the pandemic. Seriously you don’t even know? Then she said that a lot of people asked that question. So you DO know that it’s not running. And people are asking because the website specifically states there is a shuttle and they are depending on it. Unbelievable that not only is the website clearly inaccurate the people that work here are clueless and not concerned whatsoever that their guests get the service they are relying on.

The property is overpriced. Female staff was rude. Food was not fresh or good. Disinfectant wipe receptacle was empty and there was trash in it instead. Staff could have been more helpful and/or hotel could have provided food because it was a winter storm.
