Reviews of Orangewood Inn and Suites Midtown

Our experience was solid. Here are my pros and cons Pros: The pricing was fair. Rooms, for the most part, are clean and maintained. Rooms are spacious. The position of the aircon is good, doesn't blow straight at you like some other places. The Room didn't smell. Both the shower and sink have good water pressure. The service was solid, the lady we met was welcoming and she got straight to the point. Rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge which is convenient. The beds are spacious and the mattress is supportive. Cons. The carpet in the room as well as the tiles in the bathroom are a bit sticky. Not sure if that's due to the high moisture or if they are not cleaned well. Some might find it nasty. The gym only has a cable machine which is alright but some more equipment would have been much better. They advertise saying they have a great breakfast however it isn't anything crazy. Just some eggs, waffles that you have to make yourself, and some coffee. Not much variety overall. This is nitpicky, but the furniture is a bit old and could use some polish/maintenance. The biggest con for me was the location, its located right beside the frontage road which is in theory good, but during rush hour the road becomes completely jammed with cars. Especially at the time of writing this review because there is a lot of construction going on nearby so driving in and out of the residence can be dangerous and annoying. Overall: This place is great for staying a couple nights on a short trip however I wouldn't recommend staying here long term. Its safe and has mostly everything you need.

An older hotel, better than a motel, but the breakfast is rather monotonous, steamed eggs + sausages, two consecutive days of these. If it is just for business trips, it is still OK.

General American breakfast with few choices. Breakfast time is short and needs to be finished before 8 o'clock No shampoo/toothbrush provided, so you may need to bring your own. The house is a bit old but acceptable

Muy bueno precio calidad. La limpieza óptima. El desayuno para mi gusto no vale la pena, pero es muy buen precio para el tipo de hotel. El personal de limpieza muy amable, excelente. Volvería sin dudas.
