This Hotel is located just outside of the town. It's within walking distance of the train station and the bus station. This hotel offers a quieter experience than those within the city. The location is on the edge of a retail/industrial area. Don't be dismayed by this, it's very quiet, both during the week and at weekends. The rooms are a decent size, with ample storage bfor your belongings. There is a fridge, a programmable electronic safe, plus a large flat-screen TV.. Best thing is, there are many plug sockets located in many locations around the room. Heating and cooling? Yes. This is controlled by a more basic physical temperature dial, and fan speed selections. (Not one of these modern complicated computerized things that go wrong). The bathroom also consists of an extremely spacious shower area, including overhead rainfall showerhead & traditional unit. The rooms are cleaned daily, and to a high standard. Breakfast is available for a small fee. As for the staff, they are always professional, helpful, respectful and friendly. Nearby there are a few supermarkets. Mercadona on the next street below, you'll pass this on the way to the hotel. Supermercado Ahorras the other direction, slightly lower priced. And the usual Lidl and Aldi, also nearby. Walking up the hill towards the motorway, you'll come to a small shopping centre, including Carrefour. And a variety of fast food outlets, including McD's. However, there is a huge variety of restaurants located nearby or within the city, catering for all tastes. The hotel is also within walking distance of the main Town center, including the old town with the City Walls and Cathedral. There are many areas to explore, including the trails by the river. So, for a stop-over, a short break, travelling by car, public transport, or just exploring on foot; this is a perfect hotel to stay at.
