Hotel is up an amazingly steep mountain with multiple hairpin bends, not for the faint hearted but amazing drive for our Porsche. Hotel son and daughter very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean but basic, towels very old.
We struggled with the fixed menu food offering and there is really no where else so you have no choice. Breakfast is very much cake and meats and quite limited. However for the experience of being at the top of a mountain with only cows with bells, it

Brilliant stay in July 2023. Wonderful spot (we hired a car to get there but could get a taxi or for the adventurous hike in via the cable car), beautiful walks through forests, high altitude pasture and along ridges, friendly staff and in particular a delicious evening meal. Would recommend you take cash to buy lunch nearby as several places don't take card

We loved this place. Amazing to hike around, very good food and exceptional staff. Breakfast was very generous with lots of sweet options (I would have liked some fruit in the morning). Dinner was amazing everyday. We would love to come back!!

A hidden pearl in the Dolomites. A family driven ‘hotel’ with the best intentions. Good breakfast and the possibility to order a lunch for the hike. Great beer, wine, nocioni, grappa, cafe… Super dinner! Chef Giovanni (Gianni) is the best in Northern Italy. When you have dinner there for more than a week, you grow more then you lose by hiking 🥰😂

Sono tornato il 2 aprile 24, a pranzo ho trovato il ristorante completamente libero e solo per noi (erano ormai terminate le feste pasquali!), accolto con la solita cordialità. Cibo semplice ma genuino. Poi una bella passeggiata nei dintorni.

Sapientemente gestito dalla famiglia Pachera che ormai accoglie i visitatori da oltre 90 anni, è un perfetto luogo dove rilassarsi in compagnia della natura!! Una pulizia impeccabile contraddistingue il rifugio. L'ottimo cibo, genuino e casalingo ha reso ancor più piacevoli le nostre serate. Il luogo si presta a tante escursioni dalle più impegnative alle più tranquille. Addirittura con una passeggiata di un'oretta, quasi completamente in piano, si raggiunge una bellissima cascata in mezzo al bosco. Luogo adatto a qualunque età, anche per i bambini. Abbiamo trascorso qui il week-end di Pasqua e ci siamo trovati molto bene.

Gestori gentilissimi e molto disponibili, rifugio carino e con ottime camere. Il riscaldamento non era molto alto ma coperte pesanti hanno sopperito al freschino. Cena e colazione abbondanti e gustose. Ci tornerei sicuramente, consigliatissimo.
