Hybla Major B&B was perfect for us. The room was clean, modern and safe as was the bathroom. The mattress was comforable, cleran and warm. The included breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful, warm and friendly. We found good food within a few minute walk of the B&B. Great place to stay.

We had a WONDERFUL stay in Hybla Major B&B - we arrived in the middle of a rare cyclone, and Gabriele and her son were our SAVIOURS. When all the restaurants were closed, Gabriele cooked us a delicious pasta made with organic tomatoes by her mother, complete with fresh homemade potato bread and fruit for dessert. The breakfasts here were the best we've had in all of Sicily; several varieties of freshly baked homemade cakes and sweets on the buffet table, plus homemade organic antipasti (e.g: homegrown courgettes and mint, peperoncino, fresh tomatoes, locally grown olives) and delicious freshly made organic bread. The home-made creamy yoghurt, candied orange peel and mandarin jam were also a highlight, alongside a caffé macchiato! Gabriele's son also speaks excellent English and kindly helped us out with bus/train times. He is also a talented photographer and his photos of the local area adorn the walls, which is a nice touch. Gabriele speaks Spanish which was also useful (as I don't have any Italian!) She gave us a brilliant food recommendation - Mammarancina around the corner - which was much appreciated; €3.50 for a slice of the best porcetta pizza slice you will ever taste and just €3/3.50 for beautifully flavoured arancini and lovely wait staff. The room was spotless, shower hot, heating good (necessary for February) and the location couldn't have been better. The B&B is 1 minute walk from two supermarkets, and a minute's walk to various bars and restaurants of excellent quality. It is also just a few minutes walk from the main square Piazza Trieste. Avola is great if you want to travel to Siracusa/Ortigia or Noto for a day trip, too. Sadly we didn't get to see much of the town itself (or visit the almond museum) due to the storm, but what we did see looked beautiful. Thank you, Hybla Major! We will be telling ALL our friends to stay here - and we will remember the incredible breakfasts for a long time to come, too! We decided against staying in an Airbnb and I'm so glad we did! Sono già 3 notti che siamo in questa struttura e devo dire che come qualità prezzo è tra i migliori che ho visto. B&B a gestione familiare, la colazione è favolosa con prodotto preparato dalla proprietaria. Il figlio è sempre disponibile a dare informazioni e consigli, stanze nuove e pulite. consigliato

Esperienza più che positiva In questo b&b di Avola.. scelto per la posizione ideale per visitare i dintorni... camera ampia luminosa e pulita, doccia super comoda ed enorme.. rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale! Buona la colazione... la loro marmellata di mandarini fatta in casa è qualcosa di eccezionale... sicuramente consigliato!

Abbiamo soggiornato a inizio settembre tenendolo come base per visitare le locali più note della zona. Le camere sono accoglienti,pulite, dotate di tutti i servizi e ben mantenute.Gabriele è una persona squisita e sempre disponibile a fornire indicazioni utili per il soggiorno.La colazione(molto abbondante)presenta ogni giorno delle specialità diverse preparate dalla signora Antonella.Lo consiglio vivamente

Quest'estate io e mio marito abbiamo alloggiato per 10 giorni in questo B&B, semplicemente fantastico. All'arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e cordialità dalla signora Antonella e da Gabriele, due persone meravigliose, gentili e simpatiche. La camera era grande, luminosa e dotata di tutti i comfort, sempre pulitissima e con la biancheria profumata e pulita. La nostra camera era adiacente ad un terrazzo, dove abbiamo potuto far asciugare i vestiti o semplicemente goderci il tramonto. La colazione è spettacolare, ogni giorno siamo stati deliziati con torte fatte in casa, yogurt, marmellate, biscotti e granite, tutto rigorosamente preparato da loro, buonissimo e fresco. Gabriele ci ha dato tanti consigli sui posti da visitare, tour guidati e spiagge. Ogni giorno ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati. Il b&b è a 10 minuti dal lungomare, ha supermercati e ogni genere di negozio nelle vicinanze. Raggiungevamo il centro storico a piedi, perché è collocato in una posizione centrale. È stata una splendida vacanza e torneremo sicuramente, perché siamo stati benissimo. Grazie per tutto, ci rivedremo presto.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ottima accoglienza. Camere pulite e spaziose. Colazione SUPER: pane, marmellate, biscotti, yogurt, torte tutto preparato dalla Signora Antonella. Presenti anche prodotti sempre preparati da lei per la colazione salata. Ottimi i consigli ricevuti per ristoranti e luoghi da visitare. Consigliato vivamente

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia nel B &B Hybla Major la prima settimana di luglio! Posizione strategica per visitare la parte sud orientale della Sicilia! Camera quadrupla nuova, pulita e confortevole. Gabriele, ottimo padrone di casa: discreto, gentile e disponibile. Punto forte la colazione, ricca di prodotti preparati in casa dalla simpatica mamma di Gabriele, appassionata di cucina e vera esperta del lievito madre. Grazie per averci fatto trascorrere uno splendido soggiorno!
