Very racist staff members. Not helpful in the slightest. Difficult to communicate needs and requests. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, if you are thinking of coming, choose a different hotel. NOT club mermaid!

So when we arrived there was a bit of a mix up with rooms but was all sorted the staff at reception was very nice and helpful, what ever we needed they either sorted or showed us, the food his is absolutely fine no issues here they have a mixed selection too choose from , clean towels and beds made every day the room was clean and the balcony view was the pool view so even better for us , Robyn in the entertainment is so much fun made the holiday more fun, all polite staff , only issue I found was the sun beds!! If you didn't get down there before 5am you didn't get one!!! By far this is the best hotel and holiday we have had . Looking forward too coming back again .

We arrived at the club mermaid on 27th July for 11 nights , we didn’t arrive at the hotel until 3am due to the length of the transfer (2 hrs 30) . The night reception staff wasn’t the most welcoming and spoke poor English so communication was hard . The Porter too our bags to our room and was very friendly English was poor but he was happy and tried to help , when we arrived in our room there was only 3 beds we are a family of 4, so the porter said he would get someone to come and make another bed (out of the pull our chair) 3.30am and still no bed has been made I went down to reception and the man in reception was laughing and joking in Turkish with his colleagues when I said it wasn’t made, eventually it was sorted and we finally got to bed . I also tried to explain I had booked a garden view room but we over looked a car park and main road (which was very noisy) the guy in reception didn’t seem to care We woke at 5am to the call to prayer and struggled to get back to sleep so decided we would venture out around 6am for a walk , we couldn’t believe that nearly every sunbed had towels on at 6am! After the poor welcome I didn’t have high expectations for the rest of the holiday, but there were plenty of positives there were also some negatives The negatives Rooms - very small, but you do manage you only use them to sleep and get ready Housekeeping (bedrooms only) - we stayed in room 4208 the housekeeper was very inconsistent with timings sometimes 9am he would come to clean sometimes as late as 6pm , floors were never cleaned , towels not always replaced even when left to be replaced , toilet rolls not restocked , bathroom not cleaned , balcony not swept , only some beds made . If I went to reception they would try and rectify but an inconvenience each day having to do this Rude reception staff- considering these are the first staff you see they were unhelpful, and rude , when we checked out the same man that checked us is just said that’s fine didn’t ask if if we had a nice stay , didn’t ask say thank you , didn’t even look up , just said that’s fine . Limited sunbeds - I was having to get up at 5.30 each morning to put towels on sunbeds as by 6am they were all gone Ear infection and upset tummy - my husband had an awful ear infection for the majority of the holiday , when I asked a reception to see the doctor she said Aaah yes that will be from the pool qe have lots of guest with ear infections from the pool just go to the pharmacy and get antibiotics ear drops , this ruined the holiday a bit as my husband was in so much pain, upset tummy’s all round so another trip to the pharmacy for antibiotics. Robyn - Robyn from the animation team was rude , loud and inappropriate, no one wants to hear him screaming and shouting at breakfast just for attention . Entertainment- very poor almost none existent The positives Small hotel - this is a nice small hotel so even though sunbeds are an issue the rest of the hotel doesn’t seem

I wanted to write this review, because I could not understand the negative reviews here. We were here last year and wanted to book again this year, but it isn't open during our school holidays in Belgium. The staff is super nice, the apartments are huge, for 3 kids and a couple. We had the duplex apartment. When you go in april, there aren't many tourists so it was really worth our time. We didn't pay a lot and this truly exceeded our expectations! We have travelled around the world with our children, and if you want a relaxing week with kids. Go for it!

DISGRACEFUL and Appalling service. We as a family of 5 but 2 parties with another family of 4 arrived late on a Saturday night. Our rooms were not ready and were asked to put our children in one room and adults in another where they would put us in our correct rooms the following day. On The Beach were contacted and offered no support. The local rep was contacted and asked us to accept the rooms and things would be resolved the following day. Long story short the rooms were resolved 20 hours later. The food was shocking, we decided to eat out many nights. The night manager is rude and simply walked away when I tried to talk to him the first night. All inclusive finishes at 11pm which is fine but in the first night, arriving at 10pm then taking over an hour to get a room for the night, refused the 4 adults and 5 children any drinks. Many families at the hotel were in similar positions. One family we spoke to had parents stay in seperate rooms and split the kids as the hotel didn’t resolve. Pay cheap pay twice. Book the Eftalia around the corner. Yes it’s a little more but so worth it. We stayed there the previous year and was amazing. Also don’t use On The Beach. They have not supported us atall while away or when at home. I asked for a refund in the difference between a family deluxe room that we paid for and the standard room we used on the first night. The hotel refuse to refund and OTB have taken 3 months to tell me this. Turkey is Amazing, Turkler is amazing, the people are amazing, just not this hotel. I strongly recommend Efatlia Ocean.

Wow we're do I start. Never been turkey before and will definitely go back again. Would definitely go back to this hotel again. The staff were amazing, so friendly and especially to our children. Very helpful and friendly. The apartment we book was amazing. Up stairs and down stairs. Very clean. Maids cleaned every couple of days. We went on the 2nd of November for 10 nights and the weather was gorgeous around 26 degrees every day. Food was lovely, alot to choose from, from the buffet. We have fussy children who couldn't eat alot from the buffet as it was alot of Turkish delicacy so it was ideal to have the pool bar which served english food. The pools were cold 🥶 but hey ho you just jump in lol my daughter loved the slides. Evening entertainment was good. All inclusive alcohol was lethal haha but nice. The private beach was nice which is still all inclusive. We booked a fancy transfer in one of the light up WiFi large cars which took around 1.5 hours from antalya airport n cost us £70 each way. Dont be fooled thow by the club reps who book the exertions because you can get them cheaper booking independently. We paid £100 each through them n then released it was only £60. But live n learn. Thankyou club mermaid for making our holiday amazing with alot of lovely memories. We want to come back now!! Xxx

On arrival just before midnight our room wasn’t ready, was told there was an electrical fault we had booked ahead a less abled room. We were eventually shown to our room which wasn’t a less abled room so had to stay in the room then was moved after breakfast the day after. We paid for a safe and wifi reasonably priced to be honest. The safe I would save your money as they let you set the code yet any four digit number opens the safe so pointless. When we were moved the room was lovely and spacious, the wet room had some mould but was clean. Cleaners saw one a couple of times only changed the towels, made the beds and that was it really do the floors did not get cleaned once whilst we were there. The hotel itself is beautiful inside as were the gardens. Staff reception-rude & unhelpful, restaurant staff-amazing really friendly and helpful, bar staff-had to put up with some really rude holiday makers and were pretty gaurded which is understandable. The pools were clean and looked amazing, the slides were only available at certain times, life guards were friendly and always present. Entertainment was pretty rubbish to be honest and very dire worst I’ve encountered. Whilst bathing around the pool there was a restaurant guy that came round to promote his place with free pick up service and left a menu and off he went as well as this a tattoo studio guy came to plug his place and I found this pretty intimidating and he was pretty pushy but in the end I just laid back down and ignored him he soon went away. The food was lovely sometimes a little same old same old but was varied enough the eating areas were main restaurant, snack bar at the pool and snack bar at the beach all clean and all staffed well with lots of smiles. The beach there is a free tractor to the beach but if not walk within 10/15 minutes. The tractor drops you at the under pass where you go down some tiled steps to the tunnel to the beach and there are signs to the dedicated area of the beach where you will find sun lounger with a bit of shade. The beach itself is unloved but that’s by the holidaymakers leaving litter and fag butts even though there are bins everywhere. Whilst bathing a tour guy came trying to sell his trips we explained we wasn’t interested and he wished us a good day and toodled off. Within a five minute walk from the hotel there is an amazing shopping mall where you can shop, eat and drink there is a pharmacy there too. When you find the nova bizarre keep walking around 20 minutes straight there is a market which is high and well stocked. Most shops, bars and restaurants offer a free pick up service so hunt them down on social media before going and then you know where they are to arrange collection.

Just arrived back from club mermaid, on arrival at 3.30am we were shown to our roo, we were a party of 5 and our room was made up for 4, after 45 mins someone came and made another bed up for us. Rooms are fine nice big balcony, hit and miss wether maid service attended our room throughout our stay. Food is buffet style, pretty much caters for everyone, just stay away from the boiled chicken I was ill off it. Pools are nice and clean, and everyone puts towels down on their beds really early, so the best ones are taken. Entertainment in the day is not very good it was either darts or water polo. Entertainment at night was ok bit hit and miss, and the bingo was expensive for what the prizes were. Do not be fooled into going to what they call a beach party, and it is certainly not for kids as they advertise it is. 10 euro each we paid to go and it was pretty much in another hotel, overpriced drinks and what I can only explain as a nightclub with ear piercing music, defo not for familys, and defo not a beach party. Drinks are OK, have to pay for cocktails or branded alcohol drinks. You have to pay for drinks after 11 pm. Because this hotel is budget friendly, you will come across some characters who love to fight the whole holiday or get blazing drunk. Overall, this is a 3 star hotel, not 4 stars. Buffet staff really needed to smile and use some manners as they all looked like they didn't want to be there. Bar staff were friendly apart from one or two who were more interested in their phones than the customers. Reception staff are not very friendly either. Staff that I highlighted as a shout-out is Eko entertainment Esra Dinner waitress.
