My wife and I were en route to a holiday in south east Switzerland and selected Le Prieure as a good half-way stopover on our journey. What a find.  This is a lovely old property with bundles of character. Fabrice made us so welcome and we were fed and watered to a very high standard. Definitely recommended and hopefully we will get the opportunity to visit again.

Then for €150, we discovered the family suite for €4... the main room is vast and great, but the other is really very small (for children? ) and would not worth the diversion. we took it with Joce to leave the other, normal, to Cricri and Pascale, but it's no longer my age: we are not happy. However, the common bathroom is huge. curiosously, The meals are dressed in a cave: if you are not of the family of bats, wait for the summer to do it rather in the garden. dinner: after 5 hours of road, a quiche-salade for 25€, When I called on the road and we were told that a chiche was waiting for us, I thought a joke ... but not! In apero, only fruit juices or beer. As I don't like beer, I'll just like Pascale and Joce a fruit juice (industrial). Ccricri l'a goûtée et aimée. il voulait en faire, mais à 5€ c'est un peu cher. à noter que la bière de l'apéro nous a été facturée en plus. on a trouvé ça méchant mais peut-être est-il normal. petit-déjeuner : là, c'est bien. cependant, no vinoiseries, no pressed oranges, no yaurts, nor of white cheese, nor of omelets, nor of eggs au plat, but of very good eggs coque, du fromage, de la charcuterie, des céréales, beurre, pain, lait, Confiture. All products are in the corner. The confiture made home is at €10, not a price of friend. Pascale took a pot, though. except for the calamitosous dinner of a quiche made home but surgelated, knowing that, unfortunately, Joce cannot eat milk products, and that I don't like the quiche, it couldn't have been worse, But Cricri and Pascale gave themselves, believed that it was the input ... of the coup, we all wrecked on bread and cheese ... except the poor Joce who is not right there. idem for the small ice cream and its tiles. The hotel is a very nice and nice one. why not ... but take dinner elsewhere. 

when you entry from the main door, it looks like the time go back 100 years, you can feel and smelling and looking what we have lost in our culture (city culture I means).  environment confortable, owner, son and assistants are gentle and very ” charmant”,  they make you feel like at home...    the aroma of the home made bread is bring me back to my granmother time (which I miss so much)   there are not too many words to describe this place...    go there and enjoy the peace, listen the silence and relax.    thanks to monsieur Fabrice, his Son and Madame Christine... In the room ”Saint-Nicolas”, very comfortable litter and spacious bathroom, we have enjoyed the space of one night this old historical house (XV century ...) The dinner table was prepared very carefully and the conversation with other guests and the owner of the places was interesting and of a certain level ... Beautiful experience.
