Reviews of Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island

This is a luxurious hotel with stylish interior design and beautiful, well-maintained grounds. It offers mini-golf, swimming pools, arcade games for kids, a children's play room, and a fitness club. Everything looks opulent, and there's a grand piano in the lobby where music is periodically played, filling the entire space. It's a very pleasant place to be. The rooms offer panoramic views of the bay and the beach – absolutely stunning. The hotel clearly looks quite new and fresh. The food is delicious. If you have the 'All-Inclusive' package, you get unlimited Mövenpick ice cream. In the afternoons, fruits and chocolate fountains are set up on the 1st floor for everyone to enjoy. The food is tasty, they often prepare seafood, and the desserts are especially delicious. I highly recommend this hotel; it's a delightful place to stay.

The sea view is incredibly therapeutic and the scenery is fantastic. The hotel service is excellent; Shrav from the Market restaurant, and Eric and Roger from concierge were all very helpful and friendly. I also recommend the hotel's Ula restaurant – beautiful views and amazing drinks.

We stayed for 3 days when a disaster struck and we couldn't fly to the Seychelles for our vacation. The hotel immediately raised prices, taking advantage of the situation. The food was monotonous and got worse each day. Our flight was delayed on March 7th, and we asked to extend our room until the evening. However, despite the hotel being empty, they only extended it for 2 hours and wouldn't even let us have lunch. There's nowhere to swim; the pool is tiny, more like a puddle. The beach had few people because everyone was stuck in the very modest pool. There's a spa, but it's paid, and a massage costs a fortune. The price is definitely inflated. There's really nothing to do here for more than 3 days.

The head pillows are uncomfortable and the room is damp. The reception service is long and boring. The procedures take a long time. There is a smell in the bathroom and when you shower, the water is not strong enough.
