Where do I begin! I cannot begin to thank Mytton Fold for an incredible experience from start to finish. The planning process through Paris and the staff was thorough and nothing felt like it was a chore, it kept both me and my wife at ease. Paris was our wedding co-ordinator and nothing was ever too much. She listened to what we wanted from the day and engaged all the way through the process The staff on the day itself were amazing. As always, we overran with the speeches but the turnaround to the evening was unbelievable. The food from canapes to the wedding breakfast itself was fantastic. The feedback from the room was unbelievable and added to the event. We were lucky on the day that it stayed dry throughout so we could use the stunning gardens for our photos, something we will treasure. We had live music throughout the day, and this was handled by the staff fantastically. We utilised the partnerships that Mytton has with Creative and Exceed, and this meant that everything was done to how we wanted and allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. Memories will last a lifetime and I for one would highly recommend Mytton Fold as a Wedding Venue in the Ribble Valley/Lancashire area. I cannot wait to go back for an overnight stay and meal and to say hello to the friendly staff.

Great night at the Mytton Hotel! We attended the Ribble Valley Business Awards (White Hart Sabden) and stayed over night. The hotel and our room was lovely and the food was top notch, well done to all the waiting in staff, great night (very sore head this morning)!

Stayed over for an 'Elvis' night. Definitely be booking again next year. Amazing from start to finish. Very nice welcome on arrival and room was just perfect and spotlessly clean, plenty tea and coffee and a fridge to keep the milk fresh was a nice touch. We had dinner in the restaurant before the show I had the sea bass and my other half had the battered haddock ( more like a dolphin!) and chips. All cooked perfectly and service in the restaurant deserves praise . We then enjoyed the show we were there for and then slept very well in the enormous, comfy bed. Breakfast again in the restaurant was lovely. Perfectly poached eggs and the full English was very filling . This is a place that we will most definitely visit again .

We stumbled upon Mytton fold after not having a very good wedding planning experience with another venue. From the moment we walked through the doors we were so welcomed and we knew this was the venue for us! Every time we visited all the staff knew who we were and made us feel at home! The whole team were amazing and couldn't have done enough throughout our wedding planning, even when I kept adding more and more (Happy wife happy life was our motto wasn't it Paris?! Ha). Our big day was perfect from start to finish, and was coordinated to a T! The canapes, wedding breakfast, carved barms and even breakfast the next morning was all amazing! All of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! And that is exactly what we wanted! I would highly recommend Mytton fold for your wedding, you won't be disappointed

We stopped here for a murder mystery dinner they were holding in the function room next door, a cosy modern hotel the rooms were warm and comfortable, the walls were awash with USB sockets, and the TV swung away from the wall to allow viewing in bed. My only critism I could possible level at the hotel was our room (31) had a motion sensing bathroom light, meaning if you tiptoe to the loo in the night, as soon as you get to the bathroom door the lights came on destroying your retina, and any night vision you had counted on for tip toing back to bed -which was a bit irrelavent as the light would remain on whilst you got back to bed lighting up the room and disturbing your significant other. Why did I call this review beware of the minataur? because the place is a labryth of corridors, and it will take all of your navigational skills and sense of direct to find your room, find your way back to the bar, and find your room again after a few drinks. We did okay at this but our neighbours apparently ended up in the kitchens when looking for the bar. The full English breakfast was top notch, filled with locally sourced produce, we will be going to another murder mystery if they have one.

We visit the area regularly and this was our third (and likely final) visit to Mytton Fold. The hotel itself is reasonably appointed, but not necessarily worthy of the slightly upmarket image they try to portray - the standard rooms are similar to a Premier Inn, though in nicer surroundings (if you like golf). Some of the rooms are a bit of a mission to get to with a heavy case (with stairs/steps/fire doors to navigate), and a train line runs right past the building. It has gotten a bit grubby in places since we started visiting (I am told by locals that it has changed hands but can’t comment on this), and we avoid the breakfast altogether which we have found is not worth the money. Service can be hit and miss. I noticed on arrival this time that there was an unpleasant smell of mildew in the room emanating from the shower curtain, so asked reception if they wouldn’t mind changing it (as they are only cheap machine washable ones). On my return 7 hours later I was told by the receptionist that she didn’t know where the spare ones were kept. There then followed a frankly bizarre exchange in which she took great pains to tell me that her and a colleague had both been up to inspect the shower curtain and ‘couldn’t see or smell anything wrong with it’. A little taken aback, I asked if she was suggesting I was making it up, and she replied ‘well no one else has ever asked us to change their shower curtain!’. We gave up and walked away. Gaslighting your customers for making a pretty simple request seems an odd choice; an offer to change it in the morning when housekeeping arrived would have sufficed.

We’ve been for a 3 course Sunday lunch today and I cannot recommend this place enough. We got married here 12 months ago (I still need to review that properly) we’ve back a few times since and we’ve NEVER had a bad time / meal / stay. The staff are all so friendly and lovely, the place is SO clean and the food is unreal. We live an hour away and it’s always worth the journey. Highly recommend! Thanks team Mytton Fold, AGAIN 🩷🩷

Where do I begin! I cannot begin to thank Mytton Fold for an incredible experience from start to finish. The entire planning process has been impeccable, nothing was ever too much to ask from any member of staff. Patryk the general manager, was on hand to help/assist with any query or support. His advice and generosity throughout our experience has been invaluable. Paris the wedding coordinator, was brilliant, her communication throughout the planning was again second to none and nothing was ever too much trouble. Lisa and Elizabeth were amazing on the day of the wedding. It was very clear they had numerous years of experience and this transpired into flow of the day. The catering staff were brilliant, the amount of guests who commented on the standard of food was insane. The ladies on reception who dealt with the hotel bookings, questions and queries were again fantastic. Not to mention the absolutely stunning, scenery, Abbey Suite and Hotel and of course the surroundings. The main Abbie Suite is a perfect light and airy room which captures the beautiful Ribble Valley in the background. The perfect setting to hold all the guests in the same room easily without any restrictions. I genuinely cannot thank Mytton Fold for allowing my husband and I to have a perfect wedding day. Those memories will last a life time and there is absolutely nothing we regret or wished for. We are forever grateful for all the staff’s help and support.

Stayed here for a relatives wedding, the venue was lovely and we had a great time. We noticed blood down the side of the toilet and reported it to the receptionist who didn't seem to know what to do , so we emailed the hotel. The response stated that the blood wasn't there and we should have taken pictures ! Don't really appreciate being called a liar, hence this review.
