Hotel Riverside

We a family booked one Standard AC room for four days. The room was allotted in the last block. The property is nice with a good swimming pool, but the rooms are not as good as expected but with a stinky smell and the toilet is ok. They don't give brush & tooth paste. I asked for toothpaste for the cost They said that you have to pay & I said ok and finally they told me they don't have any & advised me to get at an outside shop which is a km away. I went with the help of a watch***. I asked them to upgrade the room for which I will pay the extra amount- but they refused and for the first two days most of the rooms are totally vacant. I asked the lady receptionist for the places to visit nearby She said that to inquire with the taxi operator- tax stand which is nearby. The restaurant was good and The food is good. It was raining all four days, They have a solar water heater on the rainy day hot water is not available and I asked for hot water at the reception, they said to collect it from the geyser fitted in the 2nd floor of the block where I stayed. Finally I got the hot water from the 2nd floor corridor for bathing. Very disappointed and the reception people are not very caring about the guests.

Fair location , nice near by bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly. The venue is a nice size but VERY VERY run down , awful rooms , very basic, not really clean. The pool and garden is in a very bad state and didnt see a single person use it.
