Amanvana is located at Kushalnagar about 30 minutes from Madikeri. The resort has nice landscape with lots of flora and birds. The river stream flows through the resort. The amenities include swimming pool, soa, games room and a theatre. The rooms are clean and spacious. Considering other properties around its value for money.

Very good experience, professional staff, private island trek and bird watching. Naveen (Naturalist) did an excellent bird watching and coffee estate session. Excellent property with a lot of included internal activities.

We have enjoyed our stay, the resort was very beautiful surrounded with natural view, food was also good. Enjoyed bird watching with Naveen sir explained different kinds of birds name and nature walk activities.

We had a pleasant stay at Amanvana resort. The eight island river trek with our naturalist guide Mr. Naveen, was a mini adventure and an exciting one. My 8 year old sone enjoyed it thoroughly. Mr. Naveen had good knowledge of nearby river terrain and guided us well through the appropriate locations ***** and in the river. He also ensured safe river crossings and made it fun at the same time. The coffee plantation tour with Mr. Naveen was also educative. His explanations were knowledgable and helpful.

Great resort on the river. Very serene and in the midst of nature. Beautifully maintained pathways and loads of fruit and flowering trees. Rooms need a little tlc. Staff is warm, spa was good and so was the pool. The river trek and bird spotting were great with a knowledgeable naturalist. They also have a local coffee plantation tour which is also good.

The room was very good. A special thanks to Mr Naveen for the nature walk, coffee estate trip and Bird watching. We enjoyed it. The river trek lead by Rishi was exciting. Amanvana filter coffee was very good

Our stay at Amanvana Spa Resort Coorg was a complete disappointment. We paid ₹21,000 per night (₹42,000 for 2 days) expecting a premium experience—but got the opposite. Rude and unprofessional staff Smelly, poorly maintained rooms Pathetic food – barely ~5 veg & 5 non-veg items Excuse given: “no gas available” for limited buffet (!) Spa & swimming pool unavailable due to cleanliness issues No meaningful activities to spend 2 days For a resort charging premium prices, this level of mismanagement is shocking. Verdict: Completely not worth the money. Avoid if you expect even basic hospitality standards.

Our stay at Amanvana Resort was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled amidst nature’s serene embrace, the property exudes an air of understated luxury and tranquility. The villas were impeccably designed—spacious, elegant, and harmoniously blending modern comfort with rustic charm. Every corner of the resort felt thoughtfully curated, from the lush gardens to the soothing riverside views. The staff’s hospitality was warm yet unobtrusive, making the entire experience effortlessly delightful. Truly, Amanvana lives up to its name—a haven of peace where time seems to slow down.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Staff were friendly and the service was top notch. The room was spacious and clean. We had a minor issue with the bathroom floor and the housekeeping responded within minutes. The complimentary treats in the room are appreciated. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet and the live counter was extensive with multiple options, excellent variety and taste that exceeded expectations. The salads were amazing. The ambience of the property was restful and quiet. There was a beautiful feeling throughout the stay. Overall, an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend.

The location of the resort is great. Direct access from the main road, but once you are inside it you will not feel the traffic. The resort has maintained good green cover and the reading nook and coffee hut close to Cauvery river are great places to relax. The room is spacious for a family of 4, but the sofa cum bed is a little small for two grown up children. The swimming pool is good and is well maintained. There are options of table tennis, badminton, pool etc for games. The biggest drawback is the restaurant. The service is not great and the variety of food items are limited also because of the LPG shortage. The same items are repeated every two days in breakfast as well as dinner. There is some issue with the drainage because of which there is a foul smell which comes during the evening.

Amanvana is a beautiful resort, gives the much needed serene and soothing experience for the city dwellers. The river Cauvery stream inside the resort is what makes the resort special...one can spend hours together near the stream, relaxing, reading and doing nothing!. Nature tour guide Naveen is very knowledgeable, friendly and caring, the nature walk and river trek with him were excellent. The bungalows are spacious, well maintained and gives cosy feel. The only cons about this place is the food. Very few options for Veg ala carte menu and unnecessarily expensive. The restaurant is highly inflexible and do not cater to even smallest off the menu requests. Food taste is very much lacking and definitely needs improvement in taste and variety.

Our stay at Amanvana Spa Resort was comfortable and truly memorable. It’s a beautiful property with lovely spots for nature walks, making it perfect for a relaxing family getaway. We had a wonderful time together. We visited to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was a thoughtful gesture from the team to arrange a cake at midnight—it made the occasion extra special. The indoor and outdoor play areas are also well-maintained and enjoyable. The only disappointment was the food. There were limited options for non-vegetarians, and due to an LPG shortage, many items on the menu were unavailable. If the food experience improves, it would definitely be a 5-star stay from my side.
