Canopy by Hilton Seychelles Resort

This is a wonderful new hotel. We opted for half board and were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, and you can also order various egg dishes (like eggs Benedict) with unlimited sparkling wine. Dinner is à la carte with a wide selection of delicious and fresh seafood. The beach is a bit shallow, especially at low tide, but for families with children, this is more of an advantage. There's a shop and several cafes within walking distance of the hotel, and a bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away.

A very pleasant hotel, new and modern. It has its own beach, gym, spa, kids' pool, and a poolside bar. The grounds are clean and cozy. The staff are beyond praise! And I'd especially like to commend the kitchen staff for their excellent cooking and service.

A clean, bright, and modern hotel with excellent service. The breakfasts and dinners à la carte were superb. I chose this hotel for its location, as it's close to all the top beaches. The hotel's own beach isn't great, but I knew that beforehand, so we drove to explore other beaches.

We stayed at the Hilton on Mahe and were extremely pleased. The hotel is truly beautiful – modern, stylish, with an interior where you literally want to photograph every corner. The grounds are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the staff. All the employees are very friendly, attentive, and true professionals. Any issue was resolved quickly, and the service felt unobtrusive yet very high quality. We enjoyed the cuisine, especially the Creole dishes. Everything was fresh, delicious, and had a local flavor. Complimentary rum, beer, and wine tastings organized by the hotel were a pleasant bonus. This was much more interesting than we expected: not just an opportunity to try drinks, but a full-fledged tasting with a story about their history, production features, and local traditions. It's clear that the people conducting it truly love what they do. The Hilton left a very warm impression. If we ever find ourselves in the Seychelles again, we would gladly stay here another time.

Overall, a good new hotel that lives up to its star rating. Pros: A great selection of dishes for breakfast (including fresh orange juice) and dinner (menu options – salad, main course with a side dish, dessert); a large pool with plenty of sun loungers; friendly staff (there's even a Russian-speaking receptionist). Cons: The beach isn't very good (perhaps due to the wind patterns in January); it was dirty both on the beach and in the water, and there were no comfortable spots or umbrellas for shade; the spa is illogically expensive (200 euros for a single massage); there were few fresh fruits at breakfast, and the watermelon and mango were unripe.

Wonderful stay at the Canopy with my husband. The service was great, and the brunch was amazing.
