I recently had an outstanding stay at the House of Michella. The accommodation was exceptionally beautiful and clean, and the breakfast selection was delicious—I especially loved the chicken congee. The location is excellent: quiet yet surrounded by plenty of restaurants, massage places, groceries, bars, and even a chemist and doctor. The beach is just a short stroll away. Gojek (Uber) is very convenient and costs only around $2 AUD to go practically anywhere in the area. I also hired a bicycle and found it easy to cycle anywhere. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

Amazing kindness of hosts and cleanliness. They even made us dinner when we arrived very late. The room was comfortable, we had all that we needed. Also breakfast was good and enough. I highly recommend this place, if I ever go to Bali again, I would stay here.

Tom welcomed us in a friendly manner and gave us good news. We were lucky as our room was already cleaned and we could check in. In our jet lagged state it was a real gift. The room is clean, nice furniture, air con and fan. Nice bathroom with over head shower option. We had breakfast the next morning and enjoyed it very much. Michella even made it vegan for us on request. We enjoyed the location for eating, beach sunrise, chilling and will definitely come back again.

House of Michella was a great and affordable place to stay. Very close to the beach and heaps of restaurants. Very quiet, great pool, clean rooms, great air con and fan. The staff were lovely. Very welcoming. The breakfast they offer is incredible. Some of the best Indonesian style breakfast we have had. Highly recommend ordering at least once while you are there. For the price per night it is better than expected. Bed was big but not as comfy as higher end hotels (to be expected) and there was not much room around the pool for sitting/lounging. But it didn’t really impact us as we hired lounges by the beach and swam there anyway. Would 100% stay again and be very happy.
