Reviews of Novotel Bali Benoa

The first thing that caught my attention was the almost complete lack of power outlets — there are barely any, and the ones that do exist are placed in inconvenient and hard-to-reach spots. The second issue is sound insulation: you can clearly hear noises from the hallway in the room, even though the soundproofing between rooms is quite good. The third — and it’s really uncomfortable — is the placement of the light switches: they’re on the opposite side of the bed. So if you’re lying down, you can’t turn off the light above you yourself. You have to ask your partner to turn off the light above you, while you do the same for them. It makes no sense. As for the beach — swimming is not really an option: as soon as you get waist-deep, you run into seaweed. That’s why we mostly used the pool, though unfortunately, its depth is no more than 1.2 meters. Other than that, everything was fine. . Первое, что бросилось в глаза — очень мало розеток (считай что нет совсем), и расположены в неудобных и труднодоступных местах. Второй момент — слышимость: звуки из коридора отлично слышны в номере, хотя между номерами шумоизоляция на уровне. Третье — и это жутко неудобно, выключатели располагаются на противоположной стороне кровати. То есть, если ты лежишь над собой, свет выключить не можешь. Ты можешь выключить на противоположной стороне кровати. Получается, ты должен просить свою жену, чтобы она выключила свет над тобой, а ты над ней. Ну, тупизм. Что касается пляжа — купаться невозможно: уже на глубине по пояс начинаются водоросли. По этой причине чаще пользовались бассейном, жаль его глубина не более 1,2 метра. В остальном — все нормально.

It’s really unbelievable & ridiculous on the bad water pressure & unstable water temperature as the 5 stars hotel like this. Room is spacious but comes with the insects, worms, spider, & leech. Staffs service provided are great. Breakfast so so. Location so so. Not recommended & won’t stay here anymore.

We stayed here in June and our stay was wonderful. So much so, that we moved to a second property after a few days in Ubud, and left the non-refundable accommodation to come back and stay here. Such a beautiful place to be, great rooms, amazing breakfasts. Pool area was perfect. Service from the restaurant wa a little slow at times and they could benefit from having staff walk along the pool area with menus taking orders - but thats not really a big deal. Loved this place. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Five million stars.

Last minute booking however the hotel didn't disappoint us. Although the hotel originally already 20+ y.o but they just renovate their rooms and facilities recently so everything's not too shabby. Room was clean, perfect size for families with young kids like us. Our kids love the kids club and the pool. The pool is overlooking the ocean and you also can watch some watersport activities too. Breakfast was good and the restaurant has ocean view as well. I tried their drink at the bar and the straw was just too short compared to the glass size, so bit hassle to finish the drink. Overall it was a lovely stay, we had a great time and definitely consider to be back!

I had an excellent stay at Novotel Bali Benoa. Rooms are spacious and offer a comfortable space to relax, with a balcony that had a nice, peaceful view of a garden area. Housekeeping were really friendly and always willing to help if I needed something, as were the staff at the front desk. Breakfast buffet here was really amazing, it was a pretty big spread of food and definitely met the needs of a Western palate.

Overall was a very good experience at the resort. Rooms are a bit small….great breakfast good location and well kept

Big, nice and clean hotel. Breakfast with good choice of different meals and a sea view. Sometimes not enough lying beds at the pool. Beach at the hotel not the best, better to drive to the main beach in Nusa Dua (free shuttle picks up from the hotel).

We satisfied more than expected. It’s much cheaper than other same level hotels, resorts. All staffs are so friendly.

Each day, breakfast was served with almost the same content. Furthermore, there was a small variety of Indonesian food at breakfast. The air conditioner was out of order and it was too hot to sleep on the first day. I informed the front desk that it was malfunctioning, but there was no improvement the first day, and when I complained the next day as well, repairs were made. During this process, the customer was not informed if the repair was completed or not. The location was in a quiet area, so it was a little far from the main tourist attractions, but the price of meals and massages were cheaper than nusa dua area. Still, compared to the local area, various prices were higher for tourists. The deposit is requested at the time of initial reception, but please note that it will not be refunded unless I ask for a refund at check-out. The hotel staff were all smiling and excellent service.

A bit further up in Benoa, so not as fast (and more exp. delivery fee) to receive grabfood/gofood if that's the concern. Staffs were very friendly & helpful. We got garden room, so there's a bit more mosquito. Can bring some repellent. But room is clean & amenities are great!
