Bali Dream House

We had booked seafront accommodation and "garden view" accommodation because there were no longer two "sea view" accommodations available. When we arrived, the manager gave us the keys to bungalow 2 (seafront) and 6 (the bungalow stuck along the road, opposite the reception and kitchens). The manager immediately apologized for giving us bungalow 6, which was extremely noisy (motorcycle parking 2 meters behind) and told us that he would change the room for the second night. OK...so indeed the room with sea view (n°2) is heavenly. Magnificent view, quiet...3 meters from the swimming pool and 10 m from the beach (black sand and pebbles, but clean beach and really superb for snorkeling at high tide, so in the morning). On the other hand, the other rooms (3 to 6) with garden view are of no interest. Barking of the neighbor's dogs all night (they are obviously locked in a cage), bungalows against each other... blah blah. Conclusion: the “sea” bungalows, 1 and 2, are magnificent. Go there, it's really great. The bungalows with garden view have no interest, REFUSE NUMBER 6 opposite reception, the highest. Right in front of the hotel, there is a small restaurant which displays a large backpacker ad. It is indeed very very good and not expensive, they can even deliver to the hotel by the pool. The garden is very well maintained, the same goes for the hot swimming pool with a sublime view of the sea. Did not like · bungalow 6, which should not be rented.

Very nice little hotel. Only 6 villas. Lovely young and very helpful staff. Cleanliness. Corals, fish right at the doorstep. No boats on the beach, which is rare for Amed.

Loué la chambre vue mer (sur leur site, moins cher que par Booking ou autre) Chambre très belle, très confortable, très belle salle de bain. La piscine juste devant et la mer à 30m. Wifi ok. Très calme. Personnel adorable et petit déj sur notre terrasse. Le tout très bien entretenu. Le rêve. Mais quelques points négatifs : Les autres chambres sont moins sympas, le restaurant pas top (allez au Galanga à 500m, top 👍) Pour le snorkleling, privilégiez la plage de Jemeluk (environ 1 km) plage en arc de cercle, protégée des vagues et facile et sympa pour le snorkleling) Amed reste encore un endroit authentique loin des foules de Ubud ou de Dempasar.
