If you want to play musical rooms then stay here. I thought it was just our experience, but when speaking to other people, it's common practice to be move rooms. Myself and my, 83 year old Father were given rooms upstairs, and the stairs were steep and dangerous, I emailed the manager twice, asking for the ground floor, but there was no reply. I went to reception and asked and was told "no other rooms available," so I requested a refund for our stay, stating the stairs are too dangerous for my Dad. The manager said you can have 1/2 refund. I went to discuss with my Dad, and we decided to take it, when they all of a sudden found ground floor rooms. That's when the musical rooms started. As I stated, we thought this was just our experience because we requested ground floor, but when speaking to others, staying or stayed, it was common practice. The staff are beautiful except for the manager who prances around or sits smoking with the regular Australians who stay and 1 woman at reception who is annoyed by people asking for anything. The breakfast is average at best, some food is fresh some is leftover from night before, no fresh juice some sort of concentrate. There is no tea or coffee in your room,you need to ask for a hairdryer. They make you sign a form that states you won't bring outside food,alcohol, or water. I questioned the water? This is upon arrival when you're tired and want to get to your room. Upon reflection, I felt management want to make sure they get every possible cent out of you, even questioning where you are having events or if you are joining for their nights or events.
