Beautiful lush paradise. Gorgeous views and rooms. Yoga retreat facilities are excellent. Rice fields are breathtaking. Children foundation is inspiring so please bring donations. Wow truly magnificent project and place. Food is good and the staff is top notch

We stayed 6 days, within a tour of Indonesia and experienced most of the proposed activities, including being guided in the traditional offering cérémonies by Mama Ati who is running the place. She is also a Priest and the Mother & support of many in the Sidemen village community. Wonderful and inspired team! Great food and service, massage and many visits to see Ikat textile production and make our own Silver rings at Edi Silver place. Can only recommend readers who wish to come, to stay more than 3 days and enjoy what they call themselves the « last place in paradise » and that should become «  the first place in paradise » and inspire other hôtels of this unique and peacefull Sidemen région!

I came to Subak Tabola as part of a yoga training and it was an absolutely perfect experience. Their tagline is "Welcome Home" and I absolutely felt like I was during my stay. Tucked away in the jungle, the grounds are truly stunning, with luscious vegetation throughout the property and views in every direction. The rooms themselves (mini-villas really) are gorgeous too with no detail of the traditional Balinese architecture and decor overlooked. They are incredibly spacious and every luxury is attended to. The amenities available on site are wonderful too - I had two massages while there, both of which were amazing, the food offered at the restaurant is delicious, and the pool is great as well. They also offer access to excursions that allow you to experience the beauty of the Bali countryside. Mama Ati and her staff are so warm, pleasant, and accommodating and truly felt like family by the end! A hidden gem - highly recommend!

This was truly a spiritual experience! The energy of the real Bali resides at Subak Tabola. In life nothing is perfect, at Subak Tabola I was in a safe place to practice my responses to life as it presents itself to me. The beds are comfortable, the yoga spaces are plentiful with stunning vista views. The food is the best I have had on the island, and I have been to several hotels. I truly believe Mama Ati and Mama Shri infuse the meals with love and so does everyone who works there. If you can, ask for some spiritual advice from Mama Ati, she is magical energy personified! And Agun makes a mean latte! Thank you also Phanny who runs the restaurant. You were all so wonderful. Everyone must experience Subak Tabola.

It was like returning home! Subak Tola is beautiful. The setting is green, glorious and serene! The room was spacious, clean and I absolutely loved my bathroom with an incredible bathtub where I was able to soak after a very long flight. The staff were lovely and very tentative (they remember your name and orders throughout the week!). Fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden - vegetarian and gluten free options! The food is so good that you will spend your afternoons thinking what you might want for dinner :) Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to disconnect from your busy life. A great place to breath, relax and reconnect with your inner self!

Had an incredible experience at Subak Tabola. Sidemen is a perfect haven from tourist areas in Bali. The view from the veranda next to my bedroom was beautiful and loved that there was a day bed on the veranda to enjoy the view and have a peaceful exchange with nature. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and I look forward to going back soon and will definitely be bypassing other parts of Bali now.
