I love the hotel decoration and we took so many photos inside the hotel. Staffs are friendly and informative. Price is reasonable. We had a very great time staying here.

My second time at Honai and loved it as much as the first time. The staff are lovely and friendly and go out of their way to provide the best service. Sometimes I had annoying food requests which they had no issues accommodating. Special mention to the following people; Puma Nopey Ari Ika Risma Yanik Novita Dwa Ayu

Stayed at the Honai Resort for the first time and had the pleasure of discovering an incredible musician, Mikel Bayou, who performs on Sunday evenings. His soulful voice, paired with his guitar skills and masterful use of a looper machine, creates a truly captivating experience. As a fellow musician visiting from the U.S., I was genuinely moved by his talent and passion. If you’re looking for something to lift your spirits, don’t miss his performance — you won’t be disappointed!

Our flight was delayed, and we arrived three hours later than expected. Despite this, all nine of us were warmly welcomed, and we were immediately impressed by the resort's incredible atmosphere. The dinners were delicious, the breakfasts were outstanding, and the lunches were equally delightful. What stood out most was Ikar (I hope I spelled her name correctly), who remembered all nine of our names without needing to check our room numbers—an example of top-tier service! The views from our rooms, whether on the ground floor or the first floor, were stunning. The overall vibe of the resort is incredibly relaxing, thanks to its beautiful surroundings of tropical plants. Words can't express how grateful we are for the exceptional service provided by the hotel. One small suggestion: it would be great to have additional lighting along the walkway or stairs from the yoga shala, as it gets quite dim at night.

Beautiful small resort. The rooms and garden are beautifully designed, creating privacy in a small and intimate resort. The shala is beautiful. I enjoyed the Spa very much (had two massages). The staff was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it!

If I could I would rate 10/10 this place is paradise from eating, room, pool day spa not to mention all of the amazing employees. Special mention to Aki restaurant and Ari driver. I felt very safe here and will definitely visit again! The Christmas evening was phenomenal with the decorations of the tables. Acoustic music was amazing

Fantastic lace, beautiful room and amazing food. Wonderful breakfast every morning. Spa was fantastic. Grounds are peaceful and actually like a beautiful garden. All that we met there could not have been more helpful. Slept so well. Nice restaurants nearby also. Not expensive to get to the village

I loved the attention provided by all the staff since the beginning and the attention to every detail of our requests (they never missed nothing). Taking the breakfast in the pool, surrounded by a variety of plants and trees, and also the yoga class were just 2 of the features we expirienced in our short stay.

The hotel was fab from the minute we got out of our taxi outside to the minute we got in our taxi to leave. The customer service was incredible, the hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable. The food was really great and the facilities available for guests were better than anywhere else we’ve stayed in Bali so far. We were a bit concerned about being far out of Ubud centre and the hotel provided a daily shuttle to and from Ubud centre. There was pretty much daily yoga classes and the option to use the hotels bicycles to go and explore the area. It actually turns out we were in the perfect place in Ubud to do our exploring and also have some much needed relaxation time. Thanks for a great stay!

This hotel is so beautiful! The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is amazing and the rooms have everything you need and more. The bath is a very big plus. The free yoga lessons and shuttle to Ubud centre is very nice as well. Will definitely come back!

Just outside Ubud is a beautiful resort hotel with an amazing 5-star staff. Food is amazing and if you get the breakfast with your room rate, you won't be sorry. It's almost too much to eat. Great selection for breakfast, lunch and or dinner. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Take comfortable with a grain of salt... Bedding and comfort differs person to person and is more a preference thing. The staff is amazing. So accommodating and gracious. All rooms face the pool. They have a daily Happy Hour! The bathrooms are incredible. Free shuttle to and from Ubud.

My friend and I spent one night and the reception and service quality were premium. The breakfast tray floating on the pool definitely gave us that Bali vacay vibe and the food was delicious. The room was super clean and very spacious especially the bathroom and bathtub. The staff was very friendly and warm. They also offered a 20% discount for future bookings and bracelets called tridata. If you’re staying Bali I highly recommend this resort. Don’t think twice ! Shout out to Angga and Agus ❤️

I recently had an amazing experience at this resort! The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff's excellent service truly stood out, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great time and highly recommended for a memorable getaway. Our stay at Honai was absolutely amazing, the services have exceeded our expectation! Everything was perfect, we asked the hotel to do the pickups and tours, it went really well and the price was very reasonable. The room was very clean and it got cleaned everyday, there were a lot of options for the breakfast and they were tasty, the hotel itself is very beautiful and you can see their attention to details when they designed the hotel, I’ll definitely miss the huge stone bathtub! The pool was very clean, everyday there is a free yoga class in their beautiful bunglow, lastly I highly recommend their massage! It’s just that they have high demand so it’s better to book in advance. Overall, I highly recommend Honai resort as your go to hotel in Ubud, they will take good care of you. Thanks for all the staffs who helped us arranging the trips and tours and everything! Specially thanks to Odon!

I stayed at the Honai Resort for a yoga retreat in October 2023. When we arrived we stayed at a big hotel, so this was a switch as it's a smaller boutique hotel. The rooms basically circle the pool which was a great meeting place for our group after a day of touring. They offer Happy Hour every day - make sure to get the bucket of beer that includes fresh fries. The fries were a bonus that we didn't realize we needed in our life. There's a large yoga Shala which was perfect for morning and evening yoga. The staff was super polite & super smiley. We had some great fresh food as part of our week/tour and they made us beautiful coffees in the morning! The tempeh skewers were my favorite! As it was a smaller hotel it was important for us to communicate if we intended on dining out for a meal so they wouldn't waste food. The rooms were comfortable & we were fortunate enough to stay at a room downstairs facing the pool. Full disclosure - a few in our yoga group smelled a sewer smell from their bathroom - maybe this was an outgassing issue with upstairs rooms. We did not have that issue thankfully. The staff did move them to accommodate, so they are on it. Otherwise, our room was clean, bathroom huge w/ a tub and separate walk-to shower. The room was stocked with spring water & snacks, so we had everything we needed. We did get a few nips by the smallest mosquitoes I've ever seen. I did see staff spraying one night & they do give you bug repellent. My biggest advice is to keep your doors shut no matter how nice it is outside. This was a great launching spot for day trips! We went to Ubud Central, fire dance, Monkey Forest, Sound healing at Pyramids of Chi, mud running through the hills and rivers - all so fun. We even did a beach day with our amazing driver. Seriously I adore her & can't recommend her enough. If you are in the Ubud area, please call her - Nyoman Sujani - WhatsApp +62 822-6611-3845 . She has great day trip suggestions, knows great off-the-beaten-path art/woodwork shopping & even snagged me the tastiest dragon fruits I've ever had! She is a single mom & is the safest SUV driver ever. Have a great trip to Ubud! It's such a special place.
