Byasa is a small family run hotel (only 9 rooms!) Owners Pande en Ayu are very friendly and kind. The staff is well trained and are just as hospitable as the owners They greet you by your name and really make you feel welcome. The rooms are very spacious, modern, air conditioned and well maintained. Great beds - and we are very picky at that… Modern and comfortabele bathroom featuring a rain shower. Great view on the pool and rice field. Breakfast is served fresh daily, so is the afternoon tea that is brought to whatever place on the grounds you like. Ubud centre is on the doorstep, but you really feel far away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. More than enough bars and restaurants in the neighborhood to eat end be entertained. Ayu kindly arranges motorbikes and drivers at fair prices. Thanks for that, Ayu! We run a small hotel ourselves in The Netherlands so we know what hospitality is all about. This hotel and its staff does a perfect job on hospitality. Thank you, Ayu, Pande and great staff. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the Byasa with my daughter from the 4th - 9th of June. As requested I got a room upstairs with twin beds. I cannot fault this hotel at all. From the check in to the check out, everything was just easy and great. The staff are super friendly and kind. The surroundings are so beautiful and green, and kept clean all times. The pool is a bonus as well. The hotel is well located, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars etc within reach. If you do not mind walking, you could also walk to the Ubud Market, Royal palace etc. This place is truly a gem. All the staff make you feel so welcome and at home. I wish i could have stayed a few more days. I will definitely be booking the Byasa for my next Ubud trip and will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends and family

This is the cleanest and friendliest hotel we have stayed in throughout our travels in Asia. Everything was excellent and if we could give more than 5/5 we would. Thank you to all the staff for making the start of our holiday so memorable, and a special mention to Putu who checked us in and looked after our every need throughout our 4 night stay, We can’t wait to come back to Byasa and will recommend to our family and friends in Australia.

Stayed here with our family. Rented 4 rooms for 5 nights. It’s the perfect basis to explore Ubud and surroundings. Rooms have all you need, beds are comfortable and the staff goes out of their way for you. They’re willing to help you with anything, tours, transportation etc. Just around the corner from a busy street, so minimum noise but easy access. Certainly didn’t regret our decision to stay here!

If you stay any where in Bali it has to be here! The staff are the kindest people, so welcoming! The food here is some of the best we had in Bali! Very clean property as well. Absolutely beautiful scenery. They even have massages that are amazing as well! Over all they made our honeymoon very special. I would come back to Bali just to stay here

The place is just great and the staff like Eka and Puttu are so nice - we have spent 6 nights here at Byasa and they could not have been spent better. Location: Very close to the main market - just 10 min walk by foot where you can go to nice cafes and get money exchanges, rent bikes etc. Probably the best vegetarian warung in the whole of Bali (Seboghana) is just opposite the hotel. Hospitality: Prompt response on WhatsApp. They manage your bike rents and trips like mount batur directly. Staff like Eka and Puttu were great to talk to. Room: Super clean room and toilets - very well maintained. nice swimming pool nature: paddy grown within this property. you can see ducks in the fields. Breakfast: Tastes good, decent menu

Such a lovely hotel! Incredibly friendly staff, tasty breakfast, and really comfortable rooms. It was separated enough from the busy streets to feel calm and quiet, and still not too far away from the sights (about a 20 minute walk to the Monkey Forest, for example). I had a great stay! Only flaws were that it was a bit farther than I would have liked from the city center (see above), and also you could hear the dance performances next door pretty much every night which was a little annoying, but those were very minor and I would go back here in an instant!

This is not a hotel — this is a country house of friends)) Thank you very much for the warm welcome, interesting stories about life in Bali and caring. The biggest impression of Bali is the people. We are very pleased to meet this Byasa family. (By the way, if you stay here, be sure to ask about the name of the hotel - Byasa). It has a cozy territory, spacious rooms and very quiet. (Or we were lucky with the guests, everyone was polite and quiet). For us, this is one of the main criteria for housing. We work remotely. It should be noted the excellent food! The breakfast menu can be selected in advance. They cook perfectly. There is afternoon tea and wonderful local sweets. Very clean rooms (cleaning can be twice a day). Good sound insulation. Near the hotel there is an art gallery, a forest of monkeys, many temples, as well as a supermarket and several good restaurants (for example, a restaurant with Russian food, there is buckwheat for those who are bored:) And we already miss this place. Your forever Byasa guests)

Ubud is a great and vivid place with lots of things to do, it comes with lots of people, traffic, noise. Byasa is literally around the corner of all of this, just off one of the main streets and close to all your favorite places, it is so calm and quiet with a view on the rice fields and a relaxed atmosphere. The hosts and staff are excellent and take good care of you with great service throughout the day and excellent food - breakfast is served fresh at the beautiful restaurant location. The swimming pool is great with coffee and tea served when you return from your day activity. We highly recommend, many thanks!
