Would not recommend to stay here at all. The only good thing was waking up to the monkeys, and the men staff at breakfast were so lovely! We booked a standard room on Agoda which stated it had aircon. When we got there the receptionists advised we had booked a room with a fan, we showed the confirmation etc but they didn’t seem to care, just said we had to pay extra for air con. We looked at the standard room but it was not good at all, the front door was locked with a simple padlock and there was a gap underneath the door which all the bugs were getting in through. It was clear we were unhappy but they didn’t offer us anything even though they had a spare deluxe room available. We decided to pay for the upgrade and the room was better but not by much. Ants all over the floor and lizards in the room made us feel uncomfortable to sleep at night. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, the sink leaked, room smelt of mould, stained towels (didn’t get new towels in the 4 nights we stayed), lighting hardly worked, dead bugs all over the walls. No tea/coffee or complimentary water. I’ve left this place covered in about 15 mosquito bites (been travelling Asia for 3 months and this is by far the worst) This place has potential to be really nice if they cared for the rooms as the gardens are lovely, just seems the owners do not read reviews or care about improving.
