They don't even greet you at the entrance, just fill out the paperwork and go inside the room. The pool was small for the price, but satisfactory. After getting water in the bathtub and coming out, two extremely corroded pink condoms appeared... Goosebumps...

We stayed here as a family of 8, booked 3 x two bedroom villa's for a 2week stay, absolutely loved it here, staff were absolutely lovely. Our villa's were great couldn't really complain about anything, only complaint would be it didn't have a toaster (so no vegemite on toast) lol. Air con worked really well, shower was great nice and hot. I've read some of the reviews about jas and some were not good, yes it's not new but honestly its fantastic value for money, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a good stay at Jas Boutique Villas. It is centrally located close to Bintang Supermarket and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Staff were all very friendly and check in was a breeze. Villas are lovely. The bathroom was a beautiful outdoor space. There was an outdoor bath next to a fountain. The little plunge pool was fantastic after a long day exploring Bali. We loved the sun bed too, great for relaxing. The only thing that really let this villa down was the mattress - it was very old, it sagged in the middle and is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. If this was replaced, it would have been full marks from me.

We stayed here for 3 nights, please be careful when you are looking at the pictures of this place as me and my friend thought this place looked amazing until we saw the actual place. The doors do not shut properly, leaving gaps to where bugs can get it, the place is majorly run down with the pool looking like it hadn’t been cleaned, to the bathrooms looking like they had been destroyed by some construction work. The staff were okay, nor rude or overly nice, oh and the sheets on the bed had stains all over them. Safe to say if I return to Bali, I will not be staying there again.

I get the promo while booking this villa. It is very cheap and recommended to stay in Bali, especially seminyak area. It isnt near the beach but you can reach double six beach in a minutes. The location is very near with jaab and heart of seminyak. The room is cöean and nest. My villa have a provate swimming pool, kitchennette (include microwave, dining area, refrigerator, stove and kitchenette utensils. So it is very recommended for family. The staff here are very nice and helpfull. You can also ask for spa in the room here. I will difinitely come here again when I go to Bali with my family.

Villa number 5 is tired and really needs an update. Sheets on bed are stained and mattress was horrid. Staff were unfriendly and never spoke to us. Anything we requested we were always told no. Didn’t even say goodbye to us or ask us how our stay went. Unfriendly and we will not return. No where near worth the money we paid.

This is an unfortunate review to write for a stay that was highly anticipated and planned for many months. We had a five night stay and had booked months ahead going by the staged photos and review some of which are negative also but willing to give it a go. Upon arrival which was after nine pm in torrential rain. We were asked by staff to view the Villa before committing to the booking which I thought was a bit weird. Looking at the Villa at night appeared to be aesthetically pleasing so we went back out into the rain to reception with only one umbrella offered to four of us as we were advised all others had been used by guests - no big deal but that was first red flag. In the morning upon closer inspection, the bathroom was in dire need for an upgrade with crack in tiles and paint over paint in some areas which had bubbles and would peel eventually, the door stopper on sliding door to bathroom was just sitting on the floor, towel rack very loose and about to fall off the wall, one lamp shade in the bedroom was about to also fall off. Sheets were a grey coloured white with stains, the furniture is like a laminate and chipped in many places. Kitchen area had a small lounge but no table so the bed would suffice as a table. Limited crockery and cutlery, hot water had been turned off in the kitchen making washing up difficult. The pool and surroundings had seen better days, the pool needed a good clean and day bed had a black and white sheet over it with matching pillows that had also seen better days. We were charged for shuttle to Seminyak centre when it’s was advertised free, we didn’t dispute this as it was our first visit back since Covid and thought it better off in their pocket. Staff were friendly enough but didn’t go out of their way to assist. My sister injured herself on a rusted metal drain grate in the reception area on day four which was so dangerous and again not much assistance other than betadine and a Band-Aid and luckily her foot did not get infected. The best part of our stay was the Villa cat who came to stay with us several times and we left him some food on leaving. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and breakfast was decent. This place is in dire need of renovations. I don’t believe the condition of the site is due to being unused during Covid, I’d be confident to say it was in poor condition prior to this. The photos are very deceiving.

Stayed in Bali in February and was expecting accommodation exactly like the photos but it wasn’t what we expected. It’s quite fun down, assuming due to the tourism industry being slow after covid and not having enough business to upkeep the premises. We had 3 villas booked. With 2 people in each villa. The first villa constantly had power issues where the power kept cutting out. The second villa had issues where the bathroom floor was continuously being flood just from having a shower. The third villa had shower issues where there was barely enough water pressure to wash your hair. In all of the rooms- • bedside drawers were all falling off the walls and were hanging on an angle//slope. If you put a drink or anything on the drawer, it slides down. • housekeeping is listed on their website as daily but when you’re there you only get housekeeping every second day. Heads up, if you want housekeeping to change your bedsheets properly, I recommend pulling all sheets, covers & pillowcases off your bed and put them on the floor so they are definitely putting on new ones. Sometimes when you don’t, they’ll just pull up and tighten the sheets already on there to make it look fresh and clean. • bedsheets were old and stained. Pillowcases were dirty and constantly felt like they were damp//moist. Pillows inside pillowcases were dirty and stained. Some blankets and sheets had brown marks or blood marks. • paint was coming off the walls and looked like they had water damage. • bath wasn’t clean when we entered and entire bathroom had a mouldy smell the entire stay. • towels always had a funny mouldy smell and weren’t clean. • pool size was different for all 3 villas. One villa had a pool that would only fit 2 people. Another Villa fit 4 of us. The other Villa could fit 6 of us but wasn’t as deep as the other pools. • tiles were also coming off the floor in all of the pools which could be a hazard to your feet. • outdoor beds next to the pool were dirty and loudly. Sheets covering the outdoor mattress had stains and a mouldy smell. The aircon in the rooms worked well especially with the high heat temperatures during our stay. The staff were nice. We also found that it was an easy location for us to get to markets and close stores // supermarkets to buy water etc. for our stay. I wouldn’t recommend these villas unless they do a refurbishment of most rooms and provide new bedding etc.

These Villas are definitely not what is shown in photos. They are run down, disgusting, neglected and are badly in need of renovations as well as TLC. That is why they are cheap! All reviews I see are prior to pandemic. Obviously at one stage they were fabulous Certainly not now Would NOT recommend

It’s been a couple of bad years for Bali given the tourism cliff created by Covid so it’s with reluctance I’m giving such a awful review. Firstly, the pictures do not match the accommodation we booked on line. Secondly, their policy to have us review our rooms before accepting them, when it was 9:30 at night, in torrential rain and after a full days travel, and with no other villa options available on site, left us with little choice so we reluctantly took the rooms and stuck it out. The open kitchen had a day bed for seating, an old fridge and as the area was not enclosed it allowed rain in to pool onto the floor. We ran the gauntlet to our bedroom pod several meters along a flooded narrow lane with large pebbles creating a trip hazard. I had to dry my feet to get into bed. The only hot water wired in was the shower! The bathroom hand basin and kitchen sink were cold only. Washing up in cold water - without hand or tea towels supplied was very difficult. There was no sign of the lounge or cocktail bar that’s indicated in the photos and the ‘free shuttle’ to Seminyak cost us 50,000 IDR. The rooms were cleaned every second day and the linen, bath mats and towels had seen better days. No conditioner or shampoo except for a old push liquid soap dispenser hanging on the wall. The only other amenities were an old shower cap box that had been opened way too many times and some ear buds I never used. The shower bay drain was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. If you wanted to cook (and we had a local friend do just that) there was a tiny plastic chopping board 30cm x 40cm and no sharp knife, one pot and one pan, three cups (chipped), two glasses. We ended up purchasing extra glasses and leaving them there. All plates and cutlery had seen better days. There was a generous plunge pool, however the day bed cover was thread bare and the pillows had mildew all over them. The mosquitoes were relentless and we battled them every night in the bedroom despite being careful to keep the outside door closed. Again I am reluctant to post such a critical review however, this place is well and truly due for a major overhaul and not at all representative of the website pictures.

Iam very sad to be writing such a bad review but I feel it only right to give other travellers the heads up on jas boutique. Here goes arrived on sep 10th 2022 to be taken to our one bedroom villa but they had upgraded us to a two bedroom but was told the 2nd room was locked and we couldn’t use it on first look it all seemed ok fast forward a few hrs and it all became clear this hotel was in need of major refurbishment decided that maybe due to the pandemic they hadn’t got back on there feet yet . Had a bath let the water out and wow it emptied entirely onto bathroom floor obviously reported It and the abundance of mosquitoes that were in our room .early hrs of morning could here it raining heavy went to bathroom and yes it’s raining in there too I could go on and on with the problems but I will says look at the photo of the doors god knows what was coming in when we was asleep thankfully we stayed one night and checked into another hotel but the staff was trying to get us to pay cancellation fee even though we had paid for the room In advance . Once home we now have to submit a complaint to our holiday company to retrieve our money back but we are going to enjoy our last 5days here . Would I stay again absolutely not would I recommend the hotel NO photos attached make your own mind up
