This was a perfect high-end accommodation. The sense of space in the room was overwhelming, and I felt that every corner was designed with the guest in mind. Not only the room, but also the staff's service and friendliness were outstanding; they accounted for at least 70% of the value for money.

The relaxing atmosphere, a fusion of Bali and Japan, is refreshing during your stay. The cleanliness and friendly service from the hotel staff ensure a comfortable stay! HOSHINOYA BALL is famous for its aerial gazebos and long, canal-like pool! Eating breakfast in the gazebo, surrounded by nature, is incredibly refreshing! The picnic-style breakfast, a mix of Japanese and Indonesian cuisine, is a wonderful experience. You can access the pool directly from the poolside in your room, allowing you to enjoy swimming in nature whenever and for as long as you like! There's also a free shuttle to the center of Ubud, so if you plan your time carefully, you can go shopping and dining for free without using Grab. The hotel driver was very friendly, and on the day I returned to Japan, I asked him to show me around for a day, and he took me to recommended spots! The room, meals, and staff service were all incredibly satisfying!

First of all, the villa itself is absolutely stunning, perfectly capturing the Hoshinoya style. I absolutely loved it. The resort truly embodies Ubud, with a jungle feel throughout. The pool is right outside the villa, which is incredibly convenient! The hotel restaurant is also delicious, and the prices are reasonable, offering great value for money. However, there's no shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel; it takes about two hours by taxi.

We stayed two nights, but because we had planned to visit many fantastic local attractions in Bali, we didn't have much time at the hotel. Time is of the essence when traveling, and we clearly understood that choosing Hoshinoya was a Japanese brand that prioritizes customer satisfaction. However, we received a very poor experience. On the second night, when we returned, the hotel hadn't cleaned our room, hadn't refilled the water, hadn't changed the towels, and hadn't made the sheets. The room was covered in dust and cobwebs – this is unacceptable behavior from a hotel. We informed the hotel around midnight, and they said they would come immediately. We thought, were we supposed to wait outside to have it cleaned? The hotel offered to compensate us with a spa treatment for two people the following day and also arranged activities for the next day, which felt incredibly insincere. They also offered to reimburse us for yesterday's breakfast! Honestly, we didn't care about those extra costs; we just felt that paying for two nights only resulted in one night's worth of service – a truly terrible experience! Offering to clean the room in the middle of the night is something I've never encountered before, and their explanation was weak and unconvincing. We are extremely disappointed.

Everything was perfect; it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It's rare to find such a beautiful hotel at such a good price in China. The food was also very reasonably priced; I stayed in the hotel for three days straight.

I loved it! Listening to the rain in the rainforest during the rainy season was so soothing. The only downside was that some of the guests were a bit noisy and disturbed the tranquility of the valley. The food was good (avoid the seafood hot pot, it was stale and unappetizing). The spa was just average; one experience is enough. It's not far from Ubud city center; you can easily take a Grab motorcycle to explore. The hotel's activities were also quite fun; you could try the paid courses if you're interested.

I was very satisfied with this stay. The hotel is located in the tropical rainforest of Ubud. The rooms are all stand-alone villas, which are quiet and private. It is an old Japanese hotel that retains many Japanese characteristics. There is no TV in the room. The main feature is to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature and relax on vacation.

The hotel is located in a rather remote area, with few surrounding amenities and limited facilities. The food and service are mediocre. It's vastly different from the Hoshinoya Kyoto I stayed at before.

It was my first time to visit Bali and I chose Hoshinoya based on the recommendation of a friend. Hoshinoya is located in a quite quiet place. You can take many beautiful photos inside and swim directly from outside the room, which makes you feel extremely comfortable. You can relax and stay in the hotel all day, which is worth everyone's enjoyment.

There is no private swimming pool, it is public, which is a bit of a disadvantage
