We recently stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Bali and overall had a great experience. The hotel is very clean, in an excellent location, and the facilities are honestly unmatched compared to any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Bali. We used the pools, gym, sauna, steam room, toddler playground, play room (small additional fee) and multiple restaurants throughout our stay and everything was excellent and well maintained.
The hotel itself is huge — with over 400 rooms — so it can feel very busy at times. Because of the number of guests, we often found it difficult to get pool service quickly, and there were long queues for buffet breakfast in the mornings. That said, every interaction we had with staff was positive. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The late checkout option until 6pm for an additional fee was fantastic and made our travel day so much easier. All of the restaurants we tried were great, and the king bed and linen were some of the most comfortable we’ve slept in.
We stayed in the same wing as the Centrestage and could hear the live music at night, but it was faint and definitely not enough to disrupt our sleep.
Overall, despite how busy the resort can get, the facilities, comfort, location and service make it a fantastic family-friendly option in Bali.
