Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran

My stay at the Le Meridien in Jimbaran was great! I had initially booked some days but decided to extend my stay. Staff are extremely polite, very helpful and super welcoming. They always greet you with a smile on their face and are ready to answer all your questions such as where can I find a laundrette or a petrol station in my case. I’m sorry I didn’t catch everyone’s names as I was out of the hotel most of the time, but they deserve a praise for sure. Location is good, you’ve got an amazing French restaurant just outside the hotel, a supermarket, a pharmacy and a great fresh juices place not far from the hotel. It’s called Ruah Rumahbuah and they have all sorts of fresh juices, smoothies and healthy bowls. My room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom is a bit outdated but it didn’t bother me. I’ve tried the breakfast a couple of times and it was rich and delicious. In room dining was also great - try the carbonara pennes and the Tom Yum, and you’ll have no regrets. I had to check out a day earlier but I’m sure I’ll be visiting the Le Meridien Jimbaran very soon! Thanks everyone for making my stay unforgettable!

All good in the hotel. 2 comments are 1. The complimentary drinking water bottle with aluminium cover is very difficult to open and not desirable. 2. The nice oval shape light between the twin bed is too low and always hit our head while trying to use the bed table in between the beds .

Rumours of this hotel's decline are greatly exaggerated...as a first time visitor it has easily been the best all-round experience I've had in Bali (having stayed in close to 20 properties over the past 9 months)...The complex itself probably dates to the 1970s, but now has a certain SOBE retro charm about it...our room was very well decked out and designed and was the size of a small restaurant with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Food wasn't amazing, but above average and available at all hours...(NB: we didn't have breakfast). But by far the stand-out here is the attitude of every single staff member we encountered...the folks who work here seem to really dig working here and exude that in every interaction. This is somewhat strange for a chain hotel such as this, but it was palpable from security and concierge through check-in staff, guest relations (service phone always answered promptly) and a special shout out to the exceptionally well-named "Smiley" who patrols and manages the pool area from dawn til dusk, fussing over everyone like a mother hen and making us all smile with his dreadful dad jokes [sample: Where do sheep go on their holidays? A: Baaaali]. A great hotel, still ticking over at the top of its game.

It’s a nice hotel, but the breakfast is just okay, I wish I Had better quality for an hotel in this price range, the rooms are huge and beautiful, the beach is extremely close, and the pool is great !

Great Hotel in Jimbaran and Perfect Stay Stay experience that went beyond and above. From arrival to checkout was so well taken care by the team at LMJ. My husband and I much enjoyed The suite we stayed ,in room 111 direct lagoon access, made it so convenient to get right in the water, The room was large and spotless clean, comfortable bed,pillows and we were always had a good sleep.the buffet breakfast was incredible. BOY from the restaurant and the staff ensured we had a good breakfast experience. The location of the hotel is also perfect as it is just steps to the beach and all the beachfront restaurants. The high light of our stayed was the staff. They are very friendly and always smiles and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you were having a good time. In particular, Alit and Smiley always made sure that we have towels, drinks. Definitely would recommend staying here - and we will be sure to be back in future.
