The experience was wonderful. The staff was great and friendly, the hotel was also beautiful and well taken care of.
There was 2 issues we experienced. One was that the hotel phone would randomly ring for no reason. And another one is that there were some guests that checked in at around 10 at night and they were VERY NOISY (yelling and banging doors). Unluckily for us, they were placed in the room beside us. Thankfully the hotel staff was very quick in addressing the issue (took around 15mins to resolve) by moving them to a more secluded room. So maybe one feedback is to consider soundproofing the rooms better.
Would come back for a repeat stay.
Very clean, excellent environment. The pool is right outside the door, and the room is huge with a separate washbasin, so two people don't have to share the bathroom sink. The service was also great; they came to help with luggage as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was good too, with three options to choose from.
We stayed here for a night specifically to catch the 8 AM dolphin tour the next morning. The hotel's facilities are quite new. If you're arriving late like we did, around 9 PM, driving through the pitch-black countryside, you'll really appreciate the excellent amenities available in such a rural location. For us, it felt like great value for money. Especially after the dolphin tour, a hot shower is crucial, as you truly get soaked to the bone. By the time we got back from the tour for breakfast, there was hardly anything left, so we quickly gave up on the hotel breakfast and opted to just eat instant noodles back in our room.

Very satisfied! The facilities are quite new, the room is spacious, and the mattress is just the right firmness. The cleanliness is excellent! The hotel is right by the sea and has its own pool. I especially loved the two gazebos by the pool – those traditional Indonesian-style elevated square pavilions. They're perfect for relaxing, chatting, and resting. I saw a Korean family of three lounging there, looking completely at ease! The hotel also has many animal statues, which kids would surely enjoy! Lovina is fantastic for dolphin watching and snorkeling! A truly worthwhile trip!
The hotel offers excellent value, beautiful surroundings, and comfortable rooms. The pool is right next to the beach, and there are plenty of boats available for you to negotiate your own sailing trips. The service was excellent, especially the handsome man who drove us to the supermarket in town in the hotel car to pick up groceries and withdraw cash. The hotel spa was fully booked, so they took us to a much cheaper spa in town and even picked us up in the evening. One area where I'd like to see improvements is the hotel's hair dryer. It's only 300 watts, not even as powerful as my mouth. It took me half an hour to dry my long hair, and it should be replaced. The kettle was the same; it took me 20-30 minutes to boil the water, but it didn't work. It was frustrating.
The sea-view room I booked was nice, but I felt the privacy wasn't very good; the walls of the open-air bathroom were a bit low. I personally thought the hotel's dinner was pretty good. The hotel beach seemed to be a black sand beach, but there were many boatmen soliciting customers, so it was alright. The hotel environment was indeed quite nice during the day.
The staff was very welcoming and polite. While there's no restaurant, breakfast is served in three options and delivered to your room the next morning. There are four rooms for rent in the courtyard, along with a small, clean swimming pool. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the beach, so you can't enjoy the evening breeze. Everything else was excellent. Kudos to the friendly and courteous staff. Also, the front desk can help with dolphin watching reservations, including shuttle service.
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. First of all, the location is extremely convenient, close to the city center and major attractions, making it easy to get around. The room was clean, modernly decorated, well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable, making it feel just like home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly to any needs. The breakfast had a great variety, and everything tasted wonderful, providing a great start to the day. The only minor issue was that the room’s soundproofing could be improved a bit, but overall, it didn’t affect the experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again next time
Muara Lovina Hotel Review – A Sparkling New Gem in Lovina (November 2025)
Overall Rating: 5/5
Muara Lovina Hotel feels like a hidden treasure that finally opened its doors after years of anticipation. Originally slated to launch just after COVID, delays pushed the grand opening to late 2024. Visiting in November 2025, everything is sparkling new, pristine white paint gleams everywhere, with not a single scuff mark or faded corner in sight. It’s the kind of freshness that makes you feel like the very first guest.
The Grounds & Pool Area
Despite the intense Bali heat, the hotel is an oasis of shade. Mature, lush plants and trees envelop the property, creating natural canopies that cool the air and keep the swimming pool refreshingly temperate. Lounging poolside felt comfortable even at midday, a thoughtful design choice that stands out.
Staff & Service
The team here is small but mighty. The same polite, eager-to-help staff handle check-in, serve in the kitchen, and maintain the rooms. No request felt like a burden; their warmth and efficiency made the stay seamless. In a world of scripted service, their genuine helpfulness was a breath of fresh air.
The Room: Spacious, Spotless, and Functional
My room was generously sized at roughly 5m x 6m, with a long, practical bathroom (1.5m x 5m).
Everything works perfectly:
• Air-con: Ice-cold and whisper-quiet
• TV: Large screen with excellent sound
• Shower & toilet: Brand-new, spotlessly clean, great water pressure
• Bed & pillows: Plush, firm, and impeccably fresh – slept like a dream.
No creaky doors, no dripping taps, no Wi-Fi dead zones. Just pure, functional luxury.
Breakfast: The Only (Minor) Letdown
The breakfast spread is limited. It didn’t wow me with flavor or variety. If you’re a foodie, you’ll want to explore Lovina’s warungs nearby.
Final Verdict
Muara Lovina delivers a near-perfect stay for anyone seeking a clean, calm, and brand-new retreat. The minor breakfast quibble barely dents the experience. If you’re in North Bali, book it and you’ll leave wishing you’d stayed longer.
Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or families wanting peace without pretension
The room was very nice, with a great view right by the sea.
Facilities: The facilities weren't new, but they were spacious.
Cleanliness: Very clean and hygienic.
Environment: The environment was excellent, very close to the sea.
Service: The service was also good; the staff were very helpful.

Great
AAidayA very clean and cozy guesthouse.
Large, spacious rooms.
This is our first year renting, everything is new. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower.
But the best thing is the hosts. From the very first minute, you feel like they've become your friend and care about you.
They arranged a transfer cheaper than anything I could find.
They also arranged a dolphin viewing trip and a massage. And importantly, they didn't overcharge.
There's a water cooler.
The most amazing breakfasts in Bali! Huge portions. Choose from rice or pasta, seafood or chicken. Even though the hostess is a vegetarian, she cooks amazingly!
I didn't want to leave.
There are shops and a nice beach nearby.
李李The room has no hot water to take a shower, and has a cold shower in a hurry. The bathroom is large but open-air. There are several oversized ants in the toilet, which makes me afraid to go to the toilet. The hotel is opposite the Lovina Beach and is surrounded by rice fields. It takes ten minutes to walk to the beach. The rice field has a good view but the mosquitoes are very much. When I stay outside, I will be bitten by N. There is no soap. I can only use shampoo instead. The hotel style can still see the taste of the boss. But the management needs to be strengthened. On the first day, there is a tall male manager. There is no smile on the face. It may be that the person has always been in this style but as a service industry. It is a bit embarrassing to have no smile on the face. The female manager and the cook are very good. Passionate, only stayed for one night to see the dolphins, the next day to catch the bus, and also packaged bread jam. The quilt bed is running out of skin itch, the privacy of the curtain is not very good, and the pool water is not clean. Overall occupancy experience is not very comfortable
NNapoli99Come to Rottweiler to see dolphins, read the guide. Many people from the south get up at three in the morning. It’s too scary, so stay here a day in advance. The location of this hotel is very good. It’s only a few minutes walk from the hotel to the beach, and then you can get on the boat to see the dolphins. ~~ We also booked dolphin watching at the front desk, it’s only 50 RMB per person, the price is also very good, much cheaper than booking on **~~ Dolphins are also worth seeing, although not as many as expected~ The sunrise is also beautiful~~
Breakfast is purchased separately at the hotel for 50 yuan, one portion of fruit, one staple food and a cup of coffee. The coffee latte art is great!
PPavelBelenkovA great hotel. Clean, comfortable, lots of places.
The pool is good.
The location is excellent, to the beach minutes 5, and to the left on the beach to the center of minutes 10.
A good owner of the villa.
Very recommended.
ААлиса5503We're staying here for the second time. I like the location, staff. The room is spacious, good view, next to the ocean. I just grieved a little dirty bathroom
ЕЕвгения ИваGood and comfortable hotel. Staff is very welcoming. You can see that the hotel is taken care of. There is a swimming pool and a number of showers. About the number: a big good bed with soft pillows. There is a small and comfortable couch, tumbs, cabinet, refrigerator, TV. At request, you can bring a boiling water in the thermos, which is very convenient when you want tea or coffee in the room. A spacious bathroom, there is hot water.
Of the downsides: a small cosmetic repair (painting the wall and ceiling places) is required , not critical, showers are not conveniently located (or to Him it is necessary to adapt), which is not critical too. Yes, there are many small ants - it is not very pleasant. If they solve the issue, I think the impressions about the number will be more positive.
VValerieVoor de prijs die je betaald krijg je een mega grote kamer. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed!
