Staff is really friendly and respectful. The location is in the main road so you won't be able to enjoy anything in a walking distance however all beaches are 5km away from the location. You can enjoy by renting a scooter from nearby areas. I enjoyed dining at the hotel, they have local and western cuisines. Swimming pool may cost you extra buck if you want to swim. I stay with Aston properties before and I enjoy their service, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for affordable yet good service hotels in Bali.

This is a historic government-run hotel, all rooms on the first floor face the pool or garden. The room has a balcony, very high ceiling, large bathroom with bathtub, TV and personal air conditioning. Excellent location, just a 15 minute walk from the Bali Museum and a 15 minute walk to the market, where I bought three sunglasses for a total of $24. Breakfast was included in the room rate and the total price for three nights was an incredible $68, which was my second stay here, the location and price were impeccable!

The Hotel Puri Ayu is located in the financial heart of Denpasar within walking distance to anything you need (including Immigration offices!), though you'll need a taxi to get to most of the touristic places. The hotel is older and simple but good value for the money. Rooms have an electric teapot with coffee and tea refilled every morning as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast was included in our room -- most mornings it was a choice of four meals (fried rice, fried noodles, cap-cay, or soup) but some mornings it was buffet with more options. The food was simple but tasty and filling. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Not a good choice if you are looking for fancy, but perfect if you want a clean, safe place that makes you feel welcomed. Swimming pool is too small to do laps but would be great for families and kids.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The key is not working, the guy from housekeeping help me to open the door and he told me to wait for new room key but he didn't back to me. The toilet door can't close properly 😑 Th room is clean and tidy. Receptionist staff was good, polite and always smile

Perfect if you have any buisness in Denpasar. The hotel is close to for exempel immigration office as well as to resturants, ATM:s and stores. Nice room with comfty large bed and a supernice veranda right by the pool. Super helpful staff! You get what you pay for and for the cost I can highly recomend!
