Hotels near Pura Tirta, Bali

The building, room, interior and exterior are awesome. Unfortunately, the hospitality of the staff especially the front office lady could be better, since the front office position is also known as the representative of the hotel. Smile and a warm greeting wont hurt anyone. We actually wanted to extend our stay for 1 more night, so we called the front office. We do understand the room that we stayed in was not availabe to be extended, it’s not about the availability actually, it’s more about how the way the lady delivered the information. It could be delivered in a better with a tourism hospitality manner. The front office could also be more informative on the room availability and explain the price and facilities just in more chill and welcoming voice tone. Therefore, we decided to not extend our stay and move to other hotel nearby which really boosted up the rest of our stay in Lovina. But overall, I do appreciate the art taste of whoever build or own the hotel, the artistic concept is the highlighted point to our stay in padmasari. Thank you.

Booked this hotel because of its location - it is super close to the take off point for dolphin tours and to the central street with cafes and bars. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Clean spacious room (we booked a standard one) with two patios one overlooking rice field and mountains. WiFi was good for zoom calls. What we did not like were dirty and old bath towels and not very welcoming staff at the reception desk (everyone else were very friendly though). So for a night or two I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are going on a sunrise dolphin trip don’t get breakfast as it’s from 7 till 10 - exactly time of the tour.

The room is old and a bit damp. The window can't be opened. The view is good. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant outside. The restaurant is great for watching the sunrise. Facilities: So-so Hygiene: It seems that no one cleans the room. There is no hair dryer. You need to call the front desk to get one. Environment: The environment is OK, but there are a lot of small bugs🐛

The location was in a very scenic spot, it was quiet, and didn't get much rain while the rest of Bali got more rain, so I was very happy. The only problem is that its a 2-3 hour drive from the airport with a lot of winding around corners and going up and down hills - true torture for someone like me that gets carsick. People just need to be prepared for the drive, but it's worth it. If you're the type of traveler that wants nightlife and partying, then stick close to the airport in Denpasar instead. If you want a relaxing beach vacation like me (still plenty of alcohol at the beach bar), then this is your place. The food was absolutely superb for lunch and dinner! The breakfast was average, more western style, but maybe I'm biased because I'm not a breakfast person anyways. You can always just sleep in and go for lunch. The pizzeria's pizza was perfection, and all other menu foods I tried, I loved. The service was great, everyone was very kind and helpful. On my last night when I was feeling too ill to eat, the restaurant staff made a free pot of tea for me and I was so grateful. The resort also called a doctor for me, which I didn't even know was an option, and I was so grateful. Lastly, the resort was stunning! Everything made of stone felt so safe and clean, everything was family friendly, there's two beautiful pools, and the beach was unparalleled. The beach bar & restaurant was perfectly situated so you can watch both the sunset and the sunrise and you can relax while your kids or friends play. Lots of outdoor space to relax, and the resort provided a free shuttle service to nearby places. There was even a gift shop that also sold sunscreen and aloe vera. And the accommodations! The bed was wonderful, the room was spacious, all amenities provided, and the shower was wonderful.

Quiet, safe and clean. Refurbished and feeling good. Pools are amazing. Staff are friendly, competent and eager to help. Right on the beach. Having been a frequent visitor over the years I am very happy with the incredible improvements over the last years. It just keeps getting better. If you want to relax and recharge, this hotel is superb. Get a tan, workout in exercise room overlooking beach, or treat yourself to a professional treatment at the Spa. It is close to the centre of Lovina (walking distance) but far enough so you dont hear music pumping in the early hours. I have been coming to Bali and Lovina for 30 years and my choice for a reasonably priced and well appointed hotel is Sunari.

Stayed at Brits Resort Lovina in preparation for my wedding; having our WO, MUA, and Photographer coming all around our rooms. The space in the room really made us still feel comfortable even having people coming in / out our rooms. Service was great, room was immaculate despite being slightly outdated, public areas including garden, main pool, and pathway to beach were spacious, and breakfast was decent. Highlight would most probably be the Restaurant team who assisted us during breakfast. We were informed that breakfast opened at 07.00 but I needed to be up and got ready early. Therefore, I visited the breakfast restaurant at 06.30 hoping just to get some breads in preparation for my big day. Instead, they opened the buffet early for us and gave us full breakfast service. This is really appreciated. Thank you Brits Resort Lovina team and we are looking forward for our next stay.

The staff and Location make this joint. The rooms are very good, large and well maintained, The Pool Villas are private and whilst at the moment they have some construction going on, you honestly would not know. The staff will run you into Lovina beach proper every day, and quite a few venues will come and pick you up and drop you back. The only downside to this place is the food. They need to get back to basic and serve the wonderful dishes that people travel to Bali for, forget the westernized menus of Burgers and Ribs etc. Serve a more traditional menu, Breakfast was pretty good. But the restaurant was the only reason this place did not get 5 stars. The staff are the best asset this place has.. a very relaxing time in Lovina, fix the Restaurant and you have a 5 star property in every way. Lovina is very laid back, no yells of ”transport” or ”taxi” no hassling from eager vendors, some polite questions as you walk past an outlet, nothing more.. A great spot for a chill out.

Puri Bagus Resort in Lovina is heavenly. Everything from the lovely, detached villa, to the infinity pool is delightful. We stayed a week enjoying the beach, pool, sunsets, spa treatments, cultural show, food and beverage, and surroundings. The Deluxe Ocean Villa is a stone's throw from the beach and is very spacious with a huge main room, ocean view patio, large bathroom and showers both inside and outdoors (in a secluded space off the bathroom). Spa treatment is excellent and very affordable. The outdoor, yet private, spa treatment setting is spectacular with a close-up beach view, and beautiful pools of water and fountains around you. Yoga class can be arranged with the resort's very talented instructor, also director of the spa. Yoga takes place in a special building with glass doors opening onto the beautifully landscaped resort grounds and Bali Sea. Breakfast by the pool is a treat and features all you can eat hot and cold specialties from a buffet. Eggs and other items made to order. The management and staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient and professional. Customer service is a high priority for this staff. In the surrounding area, we enjoyed nearby waterfalls in the mountains, and hot spring swimming parks, both in the mountains and on the shore. Cooking classes can be found at the resort or within walking distance at Warung Bambu Pemaron. Lovina is a fun town to visit (free shuttle from the resort in the mornings). We stayed at Puri Bagus in 2016 as well and thoroughly enjoyed our visits on both stays. With the south of Bali becoming so much more crowded and noiser, we prefer the peace and tranquility of the north.

What a place!!! The room was one of the nicest I’ve stayed, so spacious, big comfy bed, massive bathroom with a powerful shower and a bath, real luxury… so many lovely touches, candies, matches, incense and flower near the bath for a spot of romance. A wide range of different coffees and teas to sample in the room. The even brought us a bedtime story on a scroll and some chocolates before bed. The site is beautiful. Yoga in the morning and plenty of activities to fill your day, on site and off. They did our laundry for free. Dinner was great, and breakfast was yum. The infinity pool is just magical. I would highly recommend. Being British the Afternoon Tea was not Afternoon Tea, but it was nice to have some free hot drinks on arrival on what was a rather cold, misty afternoon. I loved this place. And highly, highly recommend.

Simply stunning the most beautiful hotel in an awe inspiring location. The villa was out of this world, the views heavenly! We loved swimming in our own villa pool literally in the clouds! The food was very good and loved having breakfast each morning looking out at that Incredible view! helpful and lovely staff though occasionally a few communication issues . We really enjoyed the complimentary yoga class with the most loveliest teacher Wawan (sorry if misspelt!) . A memorable experience being surrounded by clouds! We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Bali and really worth the long journey from south, truly munduk is a beautiful and peaceful location.
