Hotels near Subak Jelepung II, Bali

We stayed here for three nights with the primary plan of doing some birding at the West Bali Barat National Park and some snorkeling. Right off the bat, they were in touch with me and giving me all the info I need to put a detailed plan in place. They arranged an excellent local outfit to pick us up from the guest house for snorkeling, which by the way was the best we ever had in terms of quality and variety of the corals and fish in excellent water clarity. The guides were excellent! I was concerned about how to get to the guest house from Kuta and they took care of it by arranging a car to pick us up including sightseeing on the way at a very reasonable price. The same car and driver did another excursion all the way to eastern edge of Bali and then dropped us back in Kuta - again at a very reasonable price. Ida and her team at the guest house are extremely caring. They would prepare hot breakfast as per our liking - Spicy fried noodles (Mie Goreng) with lots of veggies and scrambled egg. And they would add fruits and pastries as well. We felt pampered! They also arranged for ”in-room” full body massage which was excellent and once again very reasonable price. I requested for wine and Ida drove 30 minutes to find some decent white wines for us. One day we left for birding at 5:30AM and Ida got our hot breakfast ready at 5AM. She is a superwoman! And all the time, her husband, Sutama, who is traveling on work abroad kept in touch with me on WhatsApp. They are such nice hard working people that I wish nothing but the best for their future. I wholeheartedly recommend this guest house!

Should be a 5 star review. Courtyard villa with private hot tub is wonderful. Couldn't rate higher -5/5. Villa's private walled garden is beautiful with large natural hot spring pool at 32 C. Stunning. Hotel's shared natural hot pools in hotel garden are even hotter! Do book courtyard villa with new AC as older AC not as efficient. Sunset Restaurant and hotel Staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble - 5/5 service. However, Sunset food lets rating down. Breakfast view outstanding with Mount Ijen in background. Sunset food 2/5. Sunset reviews ring true except cost. It's no more expensive than any other hotel restaurant nearby, but food quietly elsewhere is better. Do try local hotel restaurant - turn left out of front gate and on right hand side down 50 metres or so.

The staff is friendly, the service is also very good, the response is quick, and the welcome is warm. The location is near the beach, unfortunately there are a lot of rocks, but it's fun to see surfers dancing on the waves. Close to the highway and easy to reach...but there are few shops for shopping. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. The hotel facilities are quite relaxing/relaxing.

The building, room, interior and exterior are awesome. Unfortunately, the hospitality of the staff especially the front office lady could be better, since the front office position is also known as the representative of the hotel. Smile and a warm greeting wont hurt anyone. We actually wanted to extend our stay for 1 more night, so we called the front office. We do understand the room that we stayed in was not availabe to be extended, it’s not about the availability actually, it’s more about how the way the lady delivered the information. It could be delivered in a better with a tourism hospitality manner. The front office could also be more informative on the room availability and explain the price and facilities just in more chill and welcoming voice tone. Therefore, we decided to not extend our stay and move to other hotel nearby which really boosted up the rest of our stay in Lovina. But overall, I do appreciate the art taste of whoever build or own the hotel, the artistic concept is the highlighted point to our stay in padmasari. Thank you.

Overall it's very good. It's very close to the place where you can catch dolphins, so you don't have to get up early. The room is clean, but check-in is a bit slow

Booked this hotel because of its location - it is super close to the take off point for dolphin tours and to the central street with cafes and bars. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Clean spacious room (we booked a standard one) with two patios one overlooking rice field and mountains. WiFi was good for zoom calls. What we did not like were dirty and old bath towels and not very welcoming staff at the reception desk (everyone else were very friendly though). So for a night or two I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are going on a sunrise dolphin trip don’t get breakfast as it’s from 7 till 10 - exactly time of the tour.

The room is old and a bit damp. The window can't be opened. The view is good. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant outside. The restaurant is great for watching the sunrise. Facilities: So-so Hygiene: It seems that no one cleans the room. There is no hair dryer. You need to call the front desk to get one. Environment: The environment is OK, but there are a lot of small bugs🐛

The location was in a very scenic spot, it was quiet, and didn't get much rain while the rest of Bali got more rain, so I was very happy. The only problem is that its a 2-3 hour drive from the airport with a lot of winding around corners and going up and down hills - true torture for someone like me that gets carsick. People just need to be prepared for the drive, but it's worth it. If you're the type of traveler that wants nightlife and partying, then stick close to the airport in Denpasar instead. If you want a relaxing beach vacation like me (still plenty of alcohol at the beach bar), then this is your place. The food was absolutely superb for lunch and dinner! The breakfast was average, more western style, but maybe I'm biased because I'm not a breakfast person anyways. You can always just sleep in and go for lunch. The pizzeria's pizza was perfection, and all other menu foods I tried, I loved. The service was great, everyone was very kind and helpful. On my last night when I was feeling too ill to eat, the restaurant staff made a free pot of tea for me and I was so grateful. The resort also called a doctor for me, which I didn't even know was an option, and I was so grateful. Lastly, the resort was stunning! Everything made of stone felt so safe and clean, everything was family friendly, there's two beautiful pools, and the beach was unparalleled. The beach bar & restaurant was perfectly situated so you can watch both the sunset and the sunrise and you can relax while your kids or friends play. Lots of outdoor space to relax, and the resort provided a free shuttle service to nearby places. There was even a gift shop that also sold sunscreen and aloe vera. And the accommodations! The bed was wonderful, the room was spacious, all amenities provided, and the shower was wonderful.

Quiet, safe and clean. Refurbished and feeling good. Pools are amazing. Staff are friendly, competent and eager to help. Right on the beach. Having been a frequent visitor over the years I am very happy with the incredible improvements over the last years. It just keeps getting better. If you want to relax and recharge, this hotel is superb. Get a tan, workout in exercise room overlooking beach, or treat yourself to a professional treatment at the Spa. It is close to the centre of Lovina (walking distance) but far enough so you dont hear music pumping in the early hours. I have been coming to Bali and Lovina for 30 years and my choice for a reasonably priced and well appointed hotel is Sunari.
