Alam Puisi Villa

This villa is just open again after covid. They started with a couple of rooms which they already prepared. Although the premise is relatively new (2013), it really needs thorough renovation. The sewage, the wooden floor at swimming pool, for instance, they really need some works. Some appliances didn't work anymore. As most of the hotel staffs in Bali are very friendly and helpful, the view is their unique selling point. It is looking free at the rice fields and you have a private pool. Sitting at the gazebo enjoying your morning sun... So, in short: if you're not too critical about the maintenace condition (they all work actually, only need some renov), then this villa is very recommended...

It is a wonderful hotel, we booked a villa with pool and jungle view. It had most of the amenities in the room, except hair dryer and mini bar staff. You could order from the restaurant 24h though but it would be nicer to have it near you as there was a fridge. Amazing view, really quiet place and nice staff. The negatives were the location as you need a transport and the local drivers are expensive and the change the deal from one day to another. You can't have grab taxi and you have to walk to the main road or book tourist tours to get rid of them. Generally very nice experience and good food at the restaurants and the breakfast was also rich.

A very nice hotel, very friendly staff and a very nice location. This hotel is located in the middle of some beautiful rice fields on just a short distance from Ubud. We decided to take the deluxe room, which was very spacious and clean. Especially the views from our balcony where amazing! I can recommend this hotel for sure!

The service and hospitality from the staff were 10/10 🫶🏼 We were welcomed with watermelon + lime juice, while completing our simple check in process. Then escorted by the Operations Manager Dewa to have a mini tour around the compound before heading to our room. The in-house chef is great at preparing vegetarian food, and is good at coming up with vegan options. The breakfast spread is really good, we were often way too full by the end of it 😆 It’s nice being in the middle of the forest - fresh air, nice nature vibes - except you definitely have to take extra steps to prevent bugs from coming near you. The bathroom is super spacious and rustic, and comes with a bathtub made of stone and a toilet fitted with bidet seat. We didn’t use the bathtub as I’m pregnant and it’s set on top of stones (i feel like it may be dangerous if i have to step out of there 🙈). Our room has a TV with netflix which is really nice to have as entertainment 😄 since we did not end up using the private pool outside the room. It was a bit stale and dirty on the first two days of our stay, before cleaning happened on the 3rd day. Free shuttle services to Ubud town area daily! Do note that Grab likely would not work here, better luck with Gojek based on our experience 👍 Overall, definitely recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

We had a wonderful stay at this Beautiful Resort..It's little far away from City Center but Yes if you want to experience the natural surroundings, view of the Rice fields just after you get up in the morning...it is worth a stay :) Breakfast was good, though the service from the kitchen needs to be a little faster mostly during dinner time especially when travelers are so tired after hopping around throughout the day.. We stayed in a Pool Villa and it was beautiful. The bed, washrooms , lenins all were clean however the trays on the table which had the CUPS could be a bit more cleaner. One of the good thing which I would like to add is one morning we saw a snake just at the entry of the Villa, mostly would have come from the Rice terrace but when we informed the Hotel they quickly came to our rescue and sprayed salt near all the entry points...and yes we didnt see anything after that :) We understand being in a natural environment things like this are bound to happen but it is the staff at the hotel who make sure our family is safe... Thankyou ONJE VILLA :)

Hotel itself were great, water pressure for shower and temperature is extremely good. The view and cleanliness were great. Massage service still acceptable. Food were great and restaurant staff are in good manner. However , there’s an unpleasant experience during our trip. 1. We are staying at Villa 2. Yesterday we were asked by a male hotel staff at reception counter whether consume any drinks, I said none. The staff call housekeeping to check on our room in front of us to reconfirm it. I felt this is too much and we are not checking out that time 2. There’s a room directory in our room, and a QR code to WhatsApp hotel management if have any questions. I did that and all I got the replied is : please refer to room directory. That’s all. No proper explanation , nothing. 3. Checking out hotel on 3/12 , which is today. The same male staff standing at the reception desk and ignore us, until my cousin started to mentioned hello we would like to check out and he just mentioned ok, and took our keys , and again, call housekeeping to check whether we consume any drinks in fridge, more concern on checking any outstanding bill even before we check out ( refer to point 1). I hope management can look into this matter seriously. We are the guest staying in Villa 2, the most biggest and expensive villa in your hotel. And all we got from that male staff is attitude , and so much care about the drinks fridge and outstanding bill. Proper hospitality training is required for hotel staff. Thanks.
