We booked a Saturday night stay. Reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Our rooms were neat with a large bed, desk, occasional chair, bar fridge, microwave and kettle. Tea and coffee was also provided. Sufficient parking is available within the property and in the basement. Our room was adjacent to thd pool. Some guests at the pool area were so noisy that we were woken from our sleep. You can also hear the vehicle sounds from the freeway. Breakfast is optional extra at R155 per person. Room service is available until 10 pm.

Our stay at the Hampshire Hotel was a wonderful experience. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and professional. Our room was nice and clean. Bedding was clean and was fresh. The beds are a bit uncomfortable, but the service was fenominal. We will definitely go back.

When we checked in the room had a terrible musky smell. It seemed to of been water damaged and not properly dried up and cleaned thereafter. We complained to the front desk and were sent to another room with the exact same issue. We complained again and were then sent to a third room but the furniture had water damage, the shower silicone grouting had mould and the toilet didn’t fill up after flushing. Eventually the manager came to us and apologised and arranged for a fourth room which was much better than the first three. One of the nights other guests were drinking and partying till the morning, slamming doors and screaming. The restaurant and bar were extremely quiet and looked extremely dull. The hotel seemed extremely quiet for peak season in an holiday town and now I understand why.
