The hotel is set in nice grounds but the positives pretty much end there. Room was small, single glazed and not very comfortable. Spiders and webs in the room for someone with a phobia isn't good! Shower not very good, leaked everywhere and the towels were far too small. Bar had no music, no TV and definitely no atmosphere! Food was ok, buffet breakfast was OK but for almost £150 per night, I expected far, far better!

The food quality was excellent for dinner. We ate dinner twice at the hotel, my only complaint on first night it was a little rushed.
Breakfast the food was self serve from heated containers. As often the case eggs and bacon dry up when stored like this. Second morning, when there were very few guests around, this was an issue. Shame because the ingredients were all good.
For both breakfast and dinner the portions were very generous too.
Room was fine. Only issue, as in many hotels there are not enough decent lights. Low level lighting is nice and romantic but when you need to see what you are doing, or see to work, brighter lights are required.

Stayed the weekend 14th to 16th July 23, as attending nearby Camp Dalfest on Saturday 15th July. Staff attentive to every need and very friendly. Food excellent at Breakfast and in Lobby Bar. Bedrooms comfortable and very clean. Very relaxing after a full day at a Music and Food festival. Definitely stay here again when next visiting Belfast and surrounding areas of Northern Ireland.

Room and building was clean, well decorated and of a reasonable size. Room temperature was good as warm but could open windows. Position was almost as far as possible from the reception and had views of a wall which was a little disappointing. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Gluten free was catered for excellently at dinner with a dedicated menu and lots of choice, excellent. Breakfast in comparison was disappointing as was served in a canteen formation, could have asked for GF options but chose not too, had a dedicated toaster to stop cross contamination. Check in and out was easy and fast. Bathroom toiletries were pleasant, shower was large and refreshingly powerful. Tea and coffee facilities were adequate. Bed was comfortable and slept well. Parking was to the front and expansive. TV screen was adequate and the remote control was well used and only worked intermittently. Finally towels were very small, UK size 14 and it didn't come close to fitting around me, added to this i think that a soft, large fluffy towel after a shower adds a level of luxury to any stay away. Bed was very comfortable.

We just enjoy our overnight stays. Lost count of how many we have had. The most relaxing and friendly hotel. Yes it's family run and you are treated as part of the family. Food is very enjoyable. Great offers😊

Staff were 12/10! Particularly at the bar( young chap), and lady on front desk.
