Hillcrest House Bed & Breakfast

We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more comfortable room. When we were struggling to find a taxi or bus to Holy Island, he went above and beyond to help us. He served us a lovely breakfast and even drove us there himself. We will always remember his kindness and generosity. I truly admire his positive attitude and willingness to help. He made our stay even more special thank you so much from Indian brother 🇮🇳

Marks breakfast is brilliant for the price however the B&B needs a woman's touch bedding old and tried towels thread pair need new pillows

Check in was great, owner sent a message the day before with relevant details. I left very early the next day so didn't actually get a chance to speak with them in person. Overall the room was nice, had everything I needed. Would happily stay again.

Great location , handy for the beach & walking ... great choice of eateries . Helpful & friendly host. Earmarked for next time we're in the area.

Quaint bnb, run by Mark who is a superb host. Lovely breakfast and the view from our room was stunning. Large bedroom with even larger bathroom. Ideal for exploring Bamburgh

Very pleasant owner , called him in advance and he couldn’t do enough . Highly recommended

Mark was a lovely host, he gave us suggestions on what and where to go and communication was impeccable! The location was just walking distance to the castle, beach and bus stops so very ideal for us. Breakfast was delicious everyday. All the necessary amenities were available if needed. If you are going to Bamburgh, I would definitely recommend Hillcrest House B&B!

Mark is your best host. Our room overlooked a quiet field occupied by grazing sheep and rabbits....and had a distant view of the sea. The room was clean and the breakfast was first class with locally caught sausages 😋

Mark is super helpful. The bed in the family suite was really comfortable and the breakfast was decent, included cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice and the usual cooked selection with toast. The family suite room is well positioned and has sea views from both windows. Bamburgh is easily walkable from the B&B and there are dining options close by. We managed to park outside the property but there’s plenty parking further up the hill if needed. Imagine it’s hard to park at times. Wish we’d known about the benches overlooking the harbour at Seahouses, we’ll be back to enjoy fish and chips there at some point.
