Hotel Grand Permata Hati

Extremely noisy, windows dont close properly. Mosque just beside. Other guests and staff very noisy in the corridors all day long. Room and bathroom filthy, linnen stained. Mosquitos and bed bugs. Absolutely not recommended.

Last minute booking this hotel after arrived at Banda Aceh on 22 Nov 2023. Price is reasonable. We received room number 333 and unfortunately the wifi connection was too bad. No connection inside room and we need to go down to lobby only able to get connected. Inform receiption and received reply nothing can be done. After dinner I did complain again to another receiption staff and he response very well by help us to change another room to 355 which is connection Wifi was extremely very good. Also help us to carry our luggage. He was so helpful and very good staff. Overall amenities was ok. Highly recommended for Muslim guest.

This is my 3rd time coming to this hotel for its pool. The last 2 visits were “alright” but this time was absolutely ridiculous. We came after been told (by the hotel staff) that you can bring people and sit in the pool area without paying entrance fee as long as you don’t swim. Then we bring 3 kids, we plan that only my husband and the kids will swim, and i can sit and watch them. Then, after we’re in the pool, the staff said that i had to pay for only sitting and watching them swim. WTH! And they said that it’s a new regulation that just applied on that day. Ok, I agree to just paid for my husband and kids (50k/person) and I wait in the lobby. What shocking me most was when i sat in the lobby, I saw they still put the pool entrance flyer with only 30k/person. I double checked to the staff and he said that it’s the old price. Then i checked their instagram account and it also says the price is 30k. The fact is, we’ve been paying 50k/person since months ago (it’s not new price). So from here we can see that their staffs are not care at all with their hotel update promo. I was thinking, would you choose a hotel with careless staffs? For me, i am absolutely don’t ever want to come back to this hotel anymore for any single reason! PS: I forgot to take a picture of their “old pool promo” one before I gave the flyer to the staff.
