Monarch Brigade Road

Very competitively priced at under 4k INR per nite . Staff are lovely and helpful . They are very good people . Breakfast is somewhat limited but adequate. Rooms are clean but the hotel is in need of a revamp . Nite club next door is very noising but largely blocked out by the equally noise aircondition units sitting outside the window . Overall, a worthwhile stay as it is right in the hub of Brigade road with a supermarket in the basement , hairdresser and reflexology next door . 5 star location .

Awesome service and awesome staff with ample parking and a good breakfast and dinner menu. The food was just delicious! The front desk was very helpful . The parking attendants were very courteous indeed!

The Monarch is located right on Brigade Road, one of the most happening places in Bangalore. Rooms are large and clean, the AC worked fine and an electric kettle was provided. The hotel is a bit old but in reasonably good condition. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and had a lot of variety. The restaurant is not recommended for lunch/dinner. Food was mediocre and there are plenty of excellent options within a short walking distance. WiFi is available but did not work most of the time. Great location and attractive pricing - that’s the only positive at this place. Entire property is dated and has a sad look. Barring one receptionist no one knows how to smile, service was below par and getting even a bottle of water was a challenge late in the night and early morning. Don’t expect an experience here but a great location for those who wanna be in heart of the city and just want a good place to sleep.

This was my third stay at the Monarch Hotel (previous stays were in March 2019 and March 2020). I was quite disappointed this time around. Let’s get the positives out of the way. + As always, the main reason we chose this hotel was its location. + This time around, as we were arriving in Bangalore on an evening flight, we requested an airport pick-up, and they arranged that for us. A big thank you to Punith, and also the driver, Rajendra. + Check-in was fast, as there was literally nobody else around when we got to the hotel. Things went downhill quickly as soon as we entered our room (room 310). - The room looked gloomy. - The floor was very dusty, as if it was not vacuumed. Had to wipe off our feet every time we walked inside the room. - There was no AC remote, just an on/off switch near the bed. - The bedsheet had stains. - Some of the pillows smelled bad, as if the pillow covers were unchanged. - The toilet made a weird gurgling sound when it was flushed. - The room door chain lock was broken. - Worst of all, the towels were so worn out they looked almost gray, and had holes in them (and it looked like they had cut one towel in half to make two). I am not a fussy guest; cleanliness and a comfortable bed are all I ask for, and I usually ignore other small things. But this time around, everything that could go wrong, went wrong. I know this is a 3-star hotel; but I had stayed here twice before (and my previous reviews here on this hotel would show that I never had any of these issues - which why I am so disappointed this time). Luckily, we had only made a booking for one night, and moved on to another hotel for the rest of the stay. I do not believe we would be staying here again.

Hotel located brigade road and attached with Mg road, connected with Metro station.Morning breakfast was faboulous and All staffs attitude well ***ner.Room very cleaned.Room view not there excellent but we'll maintained Room.Housekeeping staff Provided nice service.Over all great budget star hotel near brigade road location.
