Rd's Nature Retreat

We, group of 14 ppl visited this reosrt for a day trip. It is approx 1 hr drive from Electronic City, Bengaluru. Good: - Activities were good. - Breakfast and lunch was good. Specially lunch was lavish. More than 50 items were there with multiple live counters. It was great for Non-vegetariens but for vegetariens options were limited. In live counter we had- chiecken tandoori, chicken kebab, tawa fish, chicken fry, mutton biriyani, krab curry, idli, dosa, naan, roti, saute vegetables etc. Food was fresh taste was good. - Staff were cooperative. Bad: - The euiptments for activities were not maintained properly. - Not a very bif resort. - The pond for boating was dirty. - No wifi and mobile network was very weak. When we enquired, they said, wifi is not working from morning. Spoke with one of their manager (Murli) but he was not that helpful. - Though food was good, it took more than 1.5 hrs for us to complete the lunch. More than 500 guests were there and the restaurant staff were not able to manage the crowd. Basically, we had to wait for 15-20 mins in each live counters to get the food. We could not copmplete brrakfast due to the crowd. - Roaming inside the resort might be difficult since roads are not proper in some areas. - Dirty and smelly washroom. It was actually not usable. Not at all accepted for a resort claimed to be 3 star. - Will not recommend to stay here at night with family and kids.

The place is well maintained, good options for entertainment, well mannered staff. The best part is that they have a good chef who will work well with your tastes. Narcanbica is too good at his culinary skills. the staff who deserve a mention is Ramen Deka and Bikrom Roy. They have a nice attitude and are supportive. Overall the place is worth a visit. They have a good pool and dont miss it.
