Hotels near Crown Tailor in Bangkok

Wie immer meine Rede : es ist kein Familien Hotel aber für ein Single oder Pärchen was nur 2-3 Tage in Bangkok bleibt, eine günstige Alternative. Vor dem Hotel stehen Abends sehr viele Frauen die in den Club unter dem Hotel möchten. Wir waren nach unseren Urlaub nochmal 2 Tage in Bangkok und uns diesmal das 5 Sterne Hotel vom Anfang der Reise in Bangkok ersparen was uns sehr enttäuscht hatte (380€ 3 Nächte). Das Ruamchitt kenne ich aus Reisen von früher und es war immer in Ordnung für einen kleinen Preis. Habe diesmal ca. 95€ bezahlt für 2 Nächte und Late check out (18 Uhr) (Deluxe Room) . Man darf natürlich nicht zu viel erwarten aber zum übernachten reicht es aus. Was dringend repariert werden muss oder ausgetauscht : - Dusche hat kein Wasserdruck - Fenster könnten etwas mehr Dämmung gegen den Lärm vertragen - der Pool wurde renoviert aber die Liegen und Auflagen müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden. - die Dusche am Pool ist sehr ramponiert, diese könnte auch erneuert werden. - am Zimmer war nur ein Nachttisch Ansonsten ist das Hotel super für diesen Preis und ich würde auch das 5te mal wieder kommen :) Die Bar vom Hotel im Lobby Bereich ist für ein Getränk zwischen durch immer schon cool gewesen. In front of the hotel in the evening there are many women who want to go to the club under the hotel. We were after our vacation again 2 days in Bangkok and save us this time the 5 star hotel from the beginning of the trip in Bangkok what had disappointed us very much (380€ 3 nights). The Ruamchitt I know from trips from earlier and it was always fine for a small price. Paid this time about 95€ for 2 nights and late check out (6pm) (Deluxe Room). Of course you can't expect too much but it's enough for an overnight stay. What urgently needs to be repaired or replaced: - Shower has no water pressure - Windows could use a little more insolation against the noise. - the pool was renovated but the sunbeds and cushions would have to be replaced urgently. - the shower at the pool is very battered, this could also be renewed. - there was only one bedside table in the room Otherwise, the hotel is great for this price and I would come again the 5th time :) The bar of the hotel in the lobby area has always been cool for a drink in between. One of the hardest recommended Hotel I’ve ever given. First I have to list all the not-so-good things: 1. The room is old. You can feel it the moment you enter the room. The case for the air conditioner controller is broken (the controller is still working fine). The carpet is clean but old and out of fashion. The air conditioner’ fan runs like a jet engine. 2. The checkin/checkout lines are not optimized in work flow. It took at best 5 minutes just to checkin 2 persons, at worst 40 minutes for a group checkin. So I had one of the worst checkin time ever. I had to wait in line for 50 minutes for my turn. 3. The towels had some stains. They are clean though. But even with those negative things I still have a lot of good things to say: 1. Location, location, location. Ambassador is on the CBD of Bangkok. Which means you can go to other places very cheap and very quickly. It is close to the Nana BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. You can go to Terminal 21 for shopping and dining. Many other services are nearby. 2. The price is very affordable. Price/performance of the room is not bad at all. With the same price you can only have a smaller and worse location room of other hotels or homestay. 3. If you intend to go outside a lot during daytime then the room is not that bad. The shower and bed were really all my need and they worked just fine. 4. The Sky wing suite has a really good view of Bangkok 5. The staff are very nice and polite. I don’t have any negative moment regarding the staff. The hotel mainly targets Indian groups that join conventions or meetings. So they don’t renew the facilities frequently. But I think they are still good enough for your stay. Overall, if you can pay more, there are better options of course. But your budget is limited then you should definitely short-list this hotel.

PAMPERED BY THE ENTIRE STAFF!!! My new friend I met that night in the Executive Lounge decided to meet up at this location before going out to meet friends and was pleasantly surprised and now no why Thailand is called the ”Land of Smiles”. Cause this is what the staff did all night!!! if looking for no noise and a relaxing place to have a cocktail, late night snack or even a coffee you must visit here!!! Ask for the three P's when you visit or Sam the bartender and tell them Houston sent you!!!

As the title suggests, there's a big but to this hotel. Almost all the staff from reception through to the housekeeping girls, all them display so much attitude..!! Most of them are surly. Sure they greet in the normal Thai way but you can tell it's just a formality and they'd rather be doing something else. I found it quite sad because a new visitor to Thailand (like me) has heard that it's the ”land of smiles” but then you turn up to this hotel and are greeted by moody staff. A couple of times whilst passing reception, I heard guests telling staff not to shout at them..!! Impatience seems to run through the veins of everyone working there. I quickly learnt that the best way to deal with the staff is to not ask anything of them. Basically leave them alone and hence you won't get attitude in return. Maybe they've become jaded. Whatever the reason, it has no place in the hospitality industry. The management need to look seriously at this problem. The location and proximity to everything is why I've given this hotel 3 dots

We resided in this spacious apartment for a month. It boasts a large kitchen, living area, bedroom, and a clean bathroom with a bathtub. The daily dishes and room cleaning services are provided, allowing you to cook as well. The location is fantastic, with numerous 7-11s, restaurants, and Asok BTS in close proximity to Sukhumvit.

Stayed 5 nights with my kids and parents. Excellent service from front desk, restaurant, porter, house keeping. Every staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Location was convenient. Everything was perfect. The breakfast at Rossini's was exceptionally gorgeous. I was a bit curious to find that the reviews of this hotel were significantly better than other similar upscale five star hotels in Bangkok. Now I understand.

Just what you would expect from Ibis. Good location. Chill vibe. Early check in, friendly staff. Clean, basic room with all the Essentials. Excellent Housekeeping. Great Coffee and Bar near the reception. Love the patio for the smokers and dreamers. Highly recommended for solo travellers/friends. PS: Very Economical and excellent value for money.

The hotel, location and staff is good ..but my room had definitely seen better days...the air smelt musty and stale ...perhaps someone had smoked in there earlier.....and there was too much furniture ..not much space to move around.and I felt somewhat hemmed in..There was no view to speak of...just other hotel rooms overlooking mine directly upfront ...So don't believe the room photo you are are seeing on the booking page and the furniture was worn out ...definitely needs a good polish up if not replacement. Staff are pleasant and very professional..I had a good stay overall...but in Bangkok you are spoilt for choice ... for the price you have other plentiful options...so stay elsewhere ...

I have stayed in the hotel many times throughout the last 3 years. I only had praises for this hotel always, in regards to location, amenities and the comfort. However upon my recent stay I realised that the lack of service at the front desk has declined. I noticed alot of new staff and honestly I did not have the same experience as had the previous times. The only employees that's were great were the concierge, the individual that checked me in and the house keeping. The rest of the front desk need to be trained to be more polite and adhere to a customers requirements. Unfortunately for reasons I will no longer stay here from this experience.

I stayed for 4 nights at the Royal express hotel in Bkk. Everything about my stay was absolutely 1st class. All staff was courteous, polite, and very professional. The reception staff were excellent and dealt with all queries immediately. The housekeeping staff was very thorough and friendly. The room was very comfortable for me. I was a solo traveler and was looking for a budget stay. The hotel rooms are newly renovated and have colorful paintings. I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and will definitely stay there again and suggested to friends as well.
