It seems to be a spot for touristy photographers and at nights it has a great bar with good looking people and expensive drinks. The hotel itself is not the freshest, but it has a good standard of cleanliness. Price value is good, especially when you book in advance. For some additional Baht there is even upgrade options to the suite, which has a jacuzzi in the middle of the room. The windows are thin, but clean, AC is working fine and the safe is working. Fridge contains free refill beverages every day. The pool could have a better view and maintenance, but a cold beer in the water compensates for everything.

I had a pleasant stay at Chateau de Sukhumvit hotel. The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to On Nut BTS station and a supermarket. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a balcony and a city view. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was fast and efficient. The hotel also has a garden, a snack bar, and a business center. The WiFi was free and reliable. I would definitely recommend Chateau de Sukhumvit hotel to anyone who is looking for a 3-star hotel with a good value for money.

It's a very large hotel set right upon the railway line, that's a direct walkway to the station. Checkin was very busy and staff weren't so friendly on all interactions with them, but efficient and functional. Bear in mind that you're going to get noise whether you're in the rail line side or other side from traffic, but if you close the bathroom door the noise is minimized. There was a jug and 2 mugs in the room, nice new bedding and a clean renovated bathroom. Noise from the corridor can be loud with people talking and doors slamming but again, for the price it's quite a good option with an undercover walkway across a busy road to the airport rail line which makes for an easy early morning flight. There's a 500thb deposit, for what I don't know, the rooms are pretty spartan, anyway never mind. That's all, I'd have to have a think if I'd stay again. Hope this helps, good luck

Habituellement, je n’aime pas faire une évaluation négative sur un hôtel dans lequel j’ai séjourné car je sais que celle-ci peut altérer sa réputation et c’est souvent ses employés qui en pâtissent, quand bien même ils n’en portent aucune responsabilité. Je me permettrai tout de même une petite exception pour cet Ibis Style Sukhumvit 50 à Bangkok. Il faut dire que la Thaïlande a édicté des mesures très contraignantes pour toute personne entrant dans ce pays et c’est ainsi qu’elle a su maintenir un taux de contamination passablement bas par rapport au reste du monde. Néanmoins, sans céder à aucune forme de paranoïa, je pense que quelques améliorations pourraient être mises en place afin de participer au bien-être de ses hôtes « ASQ ». La peur que le Corona puisse éventuellement être transmis aux employés de l’hôtel par des individus en quarantaine, engendre des situations ubuesques ! Le remplacement de la literie n’étant pas prévu avant le premier test COVID, il a fallu que j’insiste pour que l‘on m’apporte de la lingerie et que je puisse effectuer cet échange après plus d’une semaine passée dans cet établissement. C’est seulement après le 10ème jour que le service de maison a pris le soin de nettoyer ma chambre. Les repas n’étaient pas de grande qualité. La Thaïlande est réputée pour sa gastronomie, j’aurais apprécié que cet établissement y fasse honneur. Une alimentation goûteuse et de qualité aurait contribué à parfaire mon séjour. Contrairement à d’autres gites, il m’a parfois été distribué du « réchauffé de l’avant-veille » dans des couverts en plastique jetables. J’aurais particulièrement apprécié que tous les petits déjeuners soient agrémentés de jus de fruits. Au niveau récréatif, ce n’était pas Byzance non-plus ! Il n’est pas agréable de passer 15 jours confiné dans une chambre sans avoir la possibilité d’ouvrir les fenêtres. La toiture a été recouverte d’un tapis vert et il n’y avait aucune structure qui permette de faire du sport, pas de piscine, juste 6 box aménagés d’une table et d’une chaise et c’est seulement après une semaine que j’ai enfin pu en bénéficier durant un peu plus de 45 minutes les cinq premiers après-midis qui ont suivi mon premier test PCR, ce fut une bouffée d’air sans pareil comparativement au système vicié de ma chambre. Ce n’aurait pas été un luxe si la connexion internet ne subissait pas autant de pannes à répétition et qu’elle ait été plus rapide (~18 Mbits/s). Une savonnette aurait pu être mise à disposition près du lavabo. Cependant, le personnel était très sympathique et très réactif. L’hôtel était calme et bien entretenu. Il est situé légèrement en dehors du centre, proche des citernes du fleuve « Chaopraya ». Parfois, derrière le grillage de ma fenêtre, j’apercevais un mirador et de temps à autre un employé de la raffinerie y faisait une ronde à bicyclette. It was close to Troops Academy and was a nice place to stay. The staff didn't speak English, but were very accommodating and kind to me. I would stay here again in the future.

Stayed 5 nights with my kids and parents. Excellent service from front desk, restaurant, porter, house keeping. Every staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Location was convenient. Everything was perfect. The breakfast at Rossini's was exceptionally gorgeous. I was a bit curious to find that the reviews of this hotel were significantly better than other similar upscale five star hotels in Bangkok. Now I understand.

LOCATION: Located in a more quiet area, with a walking distance to the BTS station ”Phra Khanong” (10-15min walk) -the hotel offer a shuttle service to the station, every 2h from 7 am to 5 pm. MaxValue supermarket located next to the hotel lobby, and 7 Eleven is 5 min walk away. Massage place just outside of the hotel, with an ATM next to it. CHECK IN/OUT: Very smooth check in, polite and friendly staff. Check out was also smooth and very fast. Deposit 1000 THB, returned at checkout. Indoor car parking for guests is available. ROOM: The room was excellent, spacious and got everything you needed. Wifi wasn't fast, but worked fine. Bathroom amenities was provided. Separate shower (with bench) and bath. Hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers was available. Laptop friendly safety box. Microwave, stove, fridge and electric water kettle. Cleaning was good, but didn't get any toilet paper refill, even when it wasn't much left of the roll and even when I removed it from the holder. POOL AREA: Very nice area, open until 9 PM (we didn't use the pool, just went to see the area)

The plus - Their location is very good, a short walk from BTS station. If you walk a little further, there is a Shopping Malls, Cinema, Bangkok Eastern Bus Station, and plenty of food shop/ Cafe. The renovated commercial building and its facility look brand new. My room has a window which is very rare for a small hostel in this area. Bed are comfortable, a small fridge and a safebox in a room, very functional and well equipped. The minus - I arrived exactly at 14.00 (recommended check in time) but found no one at the reception. I waited for over 20 minutes, tried to call the hotel but cannot contact anyone, I walked into the accommodation area and find maids who do not understand Thai or English, nor can they do anything about my check in. I have to wait a little more until the reception shows up. This is frustrating for me as I need to rush out for next appointment in town. It is totally fine that the staff need a break, but at least leave a message advise their return time, so I can advise me tardiness accordingly. It is also my safety concern that I can get into the accommodation section without any one acknowledge my presence at all. Other than that, this is a comfortable place to stay at this price range.

I stayed here (actually still staying) for a course of 2 months and are extremely familiar with the area. (have worked and lived for an extended period of time in Bangkok). Ist this a 5 star hotel? Certainly not. But it is as good as it gets for the price in Bangkok in this sort of location. I read here: ”Far away from tourist attractions”. So is everything else if you are talking about the Royal Palace, night markets etc. Bkk does not have ONE city center as such and is a very dynamic city changing by the day and public transport is very cheap. You will not find any other hotel in sort of location, with a fantastic view onto the skyline, absolutely great staff, super friendly and very helpful, a pool, a gym and a Family Mart right in the building. The location closed to Phra Khanong and about 10 minutes walk to Ekamai Sky Train station. The pool is half indoors and serves the purpose. The gym is fairly large and equipment seems to be new. (have not used it though) Wifi and cleaning services are included for short stays but charged for monthly stays. Washing machines are on location and can be used for a small fee. There is a restaurant located at the reception level. Thai food. Very good and not expensive. The perfect place for me by all means.

Living in Thailand since 9 years. After stressful Covid year, I and my wife we decided to have a differnt experience. We checked in V One Pride Sukumvit 22 for 3 nights. It was amazing that the staff didn,t try to cheat us and gave us very genuine price, where as all other hotels in town kept their prices very high due to New Year Eve. The rooms are so clean, huge and airy. My wife felt very comfortable talking to receotion staff. Whole staff is fully educatwd and friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Anu and his team, we became friends forever. Can't wait for our next visit to this place. Anyone looking good hotel with great service go and stay at V-One. Heartiest Thanks. At the end happy wife happy life.
