It's closed to the jayfai restaurant and palace but far from the mrt and china town when there are no shuttle bus to connect as well.

The hotel is conveniently located in the historical center. If you want to see the royal palace, temples, the Golden Mount, Khao San Road, then feel free to choose this hotel. If you are interested in shopping, visiting shopping centers, then it is quite far from here. But this has its own advantage - while you get there, you get a sightseeing tour. Nearby there are 7-11 stores, a small market, there are places where you can eat. In the hotel itself, on the first floor, there is a small bar-restaurant with live music. Very nice. And no less nice is that at 10 pm the music ends and does not interfere with your rest. A huge plus of this place is the direct bus S1 from Suvarnabhumi Airport. It stops literally around the corner. This hotel is very cozy. There is subdued lighting everywhere, this should be taken into account by those who like bright lighting. The windows of our room overlooked a wonderful courtyard garden. The room has toothbrushes, a shower set, robes, slippers. A refrigerator! And every day very tasty coffee. During our stay the room was not cleaned, maybe they did not have time and we arrived early. But after asking the administrator everything was cleaned while we were drinking coffee downstairs in the lounge. Who says that the hotel is old - yes! It is old, but it is excellent and well maintained. I would like to say separately that the linen in the room was also excellent, nothing old or stained. Everything is fresh and smells nice. The pillows are excellent, comfortable. We really liked the breakfast, it was delicious. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to the left of the exit. Please note that it may pass by if you do not raise your hand. The area is quiet, not noisy. We are very pleased. Everything was wonderful.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The reception alone was nice, very warm and helpful. After the porter brought our suitcases from the taxi to reception without asking, the extremely friendly lady gave us a quick tour of everything. On the way to the room, there was a beautiful courtyard that invited us to relax. The old atmosphere is very well done and yet modern in the rooms. The bed was super comfortable. The separate shower from the toilet was, like the room, incredibly spacious and clean. The location is actually a 10-minute walk from Khaosan Road. Unfortunately, the location doesn't offer anything else within walking distance. Our room (207) - junior suite was in the courtyard. You can actually hear the street noise a bit louder because the night is lively here in Bangkok. But all in all, it was okay. We slept excellently. On Saturday evening, there was live Jass music in the adjacent restaurant. That was wonderful. The food in the in-house restaurant was also excellent. Conclusion... We would come back just for the service. Keep it up!

This hotel is highly recommended. The rooms are large and the transportation is convenient. The most important thing is that the service is super good. It’s so good. I don’t know where the bad reviews came from. Their coffee and desserts are so good that they cost about 100 yuan for two people. What about a bicycle? There are several restaurants at the entrance downstairs. One has a complete set of Hainanese chicken rice for 60 baht. It is more delicious than Sanya Hainanese chicken rice and cheaper. The surrounding facilities of the hotel are definitely sufficient.

The hotel has a classic dark European style, suitable for a couple's vacation. However, there are mosquitoes in the hotel but there are no electric mosquito coils/liquids. Although the front desk gave me the only mosquito repellent lamp, there are still mosquitoes. In addition, it is recommended to provide Thai options for breakfast. Pure European options are not suitable for visiting Thailand.
